ESPN Report: Leinart dancing through final semester

He is NOT a member of the miami dolphins. Hopefully he will NEVER be a part of the miami dolphins. So this loser does not need to have a topic in this forum. unfortunatly they don't have a "massively overratted players" forum but still this does not belong here.

you can say pretty much anything you want about the guy being clueless or anything of that nature but the one thing that Leinhart is not and that's a loser...you don't win back to back natl. championships as the starting QB (with a possible 3rd on the horizon) as a loser.

While I think the guy is just a tad overrated (yet still very very good) the word loser should never be associated with Matt Leinhart!

If our QB's don't improve, then Matt Leinhart could be a Fin next year with the season that could be upon the horizon for us.

It's Dolphins related!

Mike0...do you know anything about his arm strength..is he the prototypical pocket passer with a gun...or something more along the lines of Brady. I only ask because I really havent seen him play much.

he's got an average arm....that's it...just average, neither weak nor strong.

Quite possible. However, a couple of the interviews I've seen that were not so football-related ("personal pieces", they're sometimes called) also hinted at a kind of general cluelessness mixed in with ****iness that turned me off to the guy. It's not just WHAT he was saying, but the body language and everything (like he couldn't - and didn't - care what else was happening outside his own little world). I started wondering if this guy would ever be able to command respect from other adults, much less NFL veterans seriously committed to accomplishing one thing: reaching and winning a SB.

Without turning this over any further, for the record (should Miami even be in position to draft the guy), I think it's possible that Leinert could be another Ryan Leaf in the making. One word: immature. And it's NOT about him being young or anything. It's about his CORE PERSONALITY being that of guy who has known too much success too early in his "career" and who, when the chips are down... turns into a little punk... and folds.

Hey, I know I'm being hard on the guy. But I AM POINTING OUT that it is all conjecture. I don't know... I'm guessing. Call it a gut feeling.

You do make a lot of sense you know. I would want someone with a core personality that is focused into doing his job day in and day out.

I don't want guys like leaf. Everyone felt so stunk by Ryan Leaf to the point where players didn't want to be around him. That is really sad you know.
