ESPN Reporting a Possible SATURDAY Kickoff again

scratch that last post. At least we know we'll get to see the game albeit on ****ing tape delay again. Do you know how hard it was not getting any info for 24 hours because I didn't want to know the score of the game before I watched it. Grrrr.

"The Dolphins are discussing that and other options with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Steelers coach Bill Cowher wanted to possibly play on Monday or Tuesday -- but the Dolphins said that is not an option."

Okay another point...

"On any Friday after six o'clock postmeridian or on any Saturday during the period beginning on the second Friday in September and ending on the second Saturday in December in any year from any telecasting station located within seventy-five miles of game site of any intercollegiate or interscholastic football contest scheduled to be played on such a date."

So technically, since the Hurricanes played tonight, they won't be playing within 75 miles of the game site, SOOOO, DirecTV can carry the game live. CORRECT????

Why are the Dolphins refusing the play Monday and Tuesday.

They're refusing to do that because they want maximum time to prep for the Jets. Playing on Monday in exchange for national exposure is one thing, but playing to nobody outside of Miami/Pittburgh and losing a day of prep time is quite another.

Good for them. There aint going to be a game saturday or sunday. let them lose whatever fans they have left and move the game up north. I for one, who owns 12 season tickets, will be waiting for my check promptley.

it doesn't surprise me if we play on saturday, we kind of look like a college team right now anyways.

I don't think they are going to have to move the time of this game. It will be a rainy game, but this thing is not going to hit S. Florida.

According to the latest projected path, you're probably right.
Might be a little rainy and windy tho.

Sh**, screw Sat. I have to work again man. I was looking forward to this Sunday's game!

I really hope it moves to Saturday. Sorry for you fans out of state with your Sunday Ticket, but all I ask for is one Dolphins game before my power goes out for another 3 weeks. Don't you guys with DTV get it replayed on Sunday?

If the storm follows that course, we'll play Sunday. The western quadrants of a hurricane are always weaker than those on the east side. May be windy and rainy but not a risk to South Florida.

Must have slipped your mind. We have a game against the JETS next week to prepare for. If the games on tuesday, we would only get 4 days to prepare. That just ain't gonna cut it and everyone would be tired and dead, especially the D. These hurricanes are killing me
