ESPN season predictions

Walker has us starting 5-0 and finishing 9-7 WITH a win vs. the Patriots to end the year. Sorry James, a week 17 win against New England to fall short of the playoffs ain't saving Joe's job this year. Especially after beating up on cupcakes early on.

After starting 5-0 "Joe Joe Joe Joe"
After starting 5-0 and then being 8-7 "FIRE JOE"
After winning week 17 vs. New England to finish 9-7 and fall short of the playoffs "I Like JOE, We were just injured . . . we are trending up"

Same ****, different toilet.

a season prediction on april 22nd is about as valuable as the paper it was written on

if we add one or two impact players in the draft, and tannehill takes another step forward in this offense, we will be playing in this post season this year....

I agree completely, I'm not making any predictions, but with a good draft, I wouldn't wanna **** with us. Quesy is just a side note.

That last stretch has alot of home games as well, so we are not completely screwed. I know alot of folks wish we had more earlier home games, but we should beat those teams anyway if we are worth a damn. Hopefully by the time those later games come up, our opponents' fans will be the ones worrying.

9-7 is actually very gracious.
If Fitzpatrick can be as good as the last three years the Jets upgraded their QB position big time. Not that Fitzpatrick is a great QB but he played pretty decent the last 3 years. If they would have had anybody but Geno or Vick at QB the Jets would not only have swept us but probably would have picked up a win here or there.

The same with Buffalo. Cassel is not a great QB but an upgrade over what they had last year. Both teams have a pretty darn good defenses and I can see both teams challenging to be the Jets of 2009. Maybe not the AFC Championship game but at least contend for a playoff spot. We certainly have more questions on offense than those two teams. They had pieces and added QBs. We went the other way. We don't know if last year was Tannehill's ceiling or not. By exchanging half of Tannehill's production we hope it was the WRs.

We have a lot more unknowns on offense than the Bills or Jets.

Have you looked at our home record the last few years?

Who knows how the season will play out guys. Brady can go down with a torn ACL for all we know. Why don't we just enjoy the ride?

Attaining our goal of consistency through mediocrity.
