Woodley was not a QB.He was an athlete playing QB.Shula often referred to him as such.
 
Woodley...SuperBowl QB one year....replaced mid-way next season. Of course, that was by Dan Marino...woo-hoo
 
tony eason! he only lasted two series against those '85 bears before the pats sat him down in favor of giraffe-neck grogan.
 
Sexy rexy is truly awful, but I would have to say I thought Philip Rivers looked even worse this season but had a good supporting cast and system that didnt require him to do as much. The USA today headlines that Rex is the worst super bowl qb ever are overblown IMO.

Doug Williams...WOW!!!.......I am a huge Marino fan but that quote is rediculous. Check your stats before putting stuff like that up....see below...


Williams completed 18-of-29 passes for a Super Bowl record 340 yards (Super Bowl record) plus tied the record with 4 TD's. PLUS MVP!!!

All that not to mention Williams' MVP performance is all the more incredible given that he had earlier had to leave game temporarily after a knee-twisting hit.

Because the previous posters are obviously looking at the question differently.
