ESPN: The five stages of Patriots grief

interesting question has been brought up in that thread. do you think pats fans would give up their 3 super bowls for 19-0? I personally dont think so but some might

awesome read. my favorite parts were anger and barganing. also liked this in denial:

"My entire identity and self-worth hinges on the ability to act smug about the supposed supremacy of Boston's sports teams"

You should read some of the comments to that article. There are Pats fans who actually think the Pats will go 19-0 next season. It must be nice to be that delusional.

Speaking of laughs, I came across this knock-knock joke:
Knock knock

Who's there?

The Patriots

The Patriots who?

Exactly

Signed, the 1972 Dolphins

...I also laughed hard at that!

Roger Goodell … come on, man! We're in this together. Once you trusted Belichick to tell you the truth and then destroyed all of those tapes, our fates became intertwined. If we go down, you go down, ginger boy. So it's time for you to trust Belichick again. Here's what you do. First, destroy all of the game tapes from the Super Bowl to get rid of the evidence. Then, call up Belichick. He'll tell you that we beat the Giants. Then just go to the public and say: "The Patriots beat the Giants in the Super Bowl. Bill Belichick told me they did. He promised me he was being truthful, so I took him at his word." See how easy that would be?

:lol::lol::lol:

does anyone have the link to that brady video posted this morning that had him speakin in slow motion about the score of the game and then the strahan pic and funny music. thx.

I posted a few comments on ESPN about this (SoFlaPhinFan) and got some grumpy Pats fan all over me for it. He tried to bait me pretty badly but I resisted for the most part. I simpy ended with "Perfectville- Population 1". What could he possibly say to that? ;)
