After a long discussion about the Jets game, the three analysts I was watching(I don't happen to know their names) came to the conclusion that right now they don't have enough talent to be a competetor in this league. "Nick Saban is a secondary coach," they said as they continued on about how the secondary was not making plays. Did you guys know that, opposed to the rest of the season, they actually improved against the run? This was the first time they had not let atleast 140 rush yards in a game. They went on to blame the offensive line for Brown's and Chamber's minimal yardage.

Don't blame them we are a sad team at this moment.

They would have easily given up 140 yards, but we carried the ball like once in the 4th qurter.

If we win two in a row they will be raving...

The media has to sell, don't listen to them.

As for what is happening with the Dolphins? They are killing themselves. They have the talent, but too many penalty, turnovers, negative plays and defensive breakdowns happening too often.

Also, the will does not seem all there... I don't know, maybe the lockeroom is divided on the QB situation? Who knows...

Injuries are KILLING our secondary and our offensive line ... probably the 2 weakest groups we have.

Eddie Jackson was the 3rd string right cornerback. He blew a coverage on that big 58 yard Pennington pass and he could have taken an easy interception in for a TD in the 4th quarter. Our 2nd string guy Andre Goodman, who's played alright this year went down with a shoulder injury.

I sure hope Eddie Jackson can improve his game in a hurry. Goodman may be out for awhile with his shoulder.

The talent is there, we just are not getting it done. Nobody has blown us out....we just cannot seem to score points and find a way to win close games.

The offensive line is not that talented.

The loss yesterday had nothing to do with a talent problem. How about 4 TOTALLY avoidable turnovers and a corner who can't catch a ball right in his chest that would have gone for six. This is about execution and it's hard to cajole the players into it. The same players who make some great plays (i.e. Chambers) also make crucially game changing plays. Not to mention one of those turnovers involved handing the ball five yards back when trying to gain one foot. When the mistakes rain, they pour and right now it's raining cats and dogs.

well talent issues for olindo mare and traveres tilman that is

but to the point, the media will continue to be the media. i still have my head held high even though the second half of this season is a brutal schedule

We have plenty of talent everywhere but on the OL, where we have NONE. We're very low in talent in the secondary, yet Saban refuses to start playing Jason Allen, why?

Reason Why??

Because they were down 20-3...to catch up you have to throw more.

The talent is not there! We have a #1 WR who would be a number 2 or 3 on any other team. The O-line dosen't have any real talent on it which includes L.J. Shelton who is garbage. Our players drop passes like it's there job and our QBs combined have a 3-7 TD to Int ratio. Our defense has some talent but the talent is getting old fast.

I agree with the turnovers, penalties and mistakes BUT I'm not so sure we have the talent. We all get caught in the ype of our own players but how good are we really. Chambers as an example - we have all seen the sideline wonder catches - we have all also seen the drop balls, the tips for int's, but most of all when is he ever wide open? I watch Steve Smoth who is usually double teamed and he gets wide open at times. I watch Harrison in Indy who everyone knows in the stadium is Peyton's fav guy and he is so wide open during games. Chambers is rarely open with much space. I think we overrate our own players. I don't think we have a #1 quality WR IMO as an example.

Go position by position and give an honest assessment of pro bowl caliber players THIS year - not based on past performances - THIS year. I'm not sure we have any - maybe JT. I'd say we are sorely lacking big time talent.

oh so true...for some damn reason...they come out flat every damn game...the offense can't score points in the 1st half. 3 points against the Jets? that's horrible.

Go Fins!!!
