Seems a bit low don't you think?
Many believe the Dolphins will win at LEAST 6 games...
Someone needs to explain that to me. I realize the biggest two factors for '16 are injuries and Gase. But no one can predict injuries. I know this is controversial, but the only position I see as significantly worse is RB and no one knows if Miami will upgrade that or not. I can't see Gase as being as bad as Philbin or the OL as bad as last year's, and that team won 6. 4 wins? Sounds like a a good bet.http://espn.go.com/blog/miami-dolphins/post/_/id/21364/dolphins-favored-to-win-just-four-games-in-2016 Seems a bit low don't you think? Thank you Vegas, I do not normally gamble on football, but they just made me an offer I just can't refuse...
Well, the over/under for wins is set at 7.5 I thought. Not sure how these two differ so much.
So it is reasonable to say Miami is clearly favored to win 4 and very close on, say, 7 games. Thus, 50% odds (I'm throwing out a number) of 7 games is 3.5, thus, 4 plus 3.5 equals 7.5, But that means Miami is a clear favorite in 4 games and 50/50 for 7 games, which means they are clear underdogs in only 5. In case you haven't figured it out, I have on my rose-colored glasses today. The difference how the individual odds each game add up over a season. For example, you could be favored to win every game of the season with a 51% each time. But overall you'd only win 8 out of 16. It may be the 4 games the Dolphins are favored by a high margin and many of the games they aren't favored it's still pretty close so they may still be expected to win more than 4 games.
Seriously, how do you gamble? Somebody educate me....I want in on this. I'lll throw down a couple of hundred on the over.
Is this done online, or do I have to call a guy in Vegas?
I don't normally gamble as I hate losing money, but again, I want a piece of this.
