DAVIE, Fla. -- The biggest surprise of the NFL draft was the MiamiDolphins selecting former Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil with the No.13 overall pick.

Neither the Dolphins nor draft experts projected Tunsil to fall thatfar. He was the No. 2 player on Miami’s draft board. However, a social-mediavideo surfaced Thursday night of Tunsil wearing a gas mask and smoking a bongthat hurt his draft stock. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Baltimore Ravensat No. 6 were one team that passed on Tunsil after seeing the video.

So what’s next for Miami now that Tunsil is in the fold?

Is Tunsil a left tackle, where he played in college? Is Tunsil a righttackle? Will he move inside to play guard?

The Dolphins weren’t willing to show their hand immediately after thedraft.

“I’m not going to make any predictions on anything and say what we’regoing to do and give away what we’re going to do quite yet,” Dolphins headcoach Adam Gase said. “We’re going to see how it plays out. We’ve got threemore weeks of Phase 2, and then we’re going to have OTAs and a minicamp, andthen we’re going to get through training camp.”

It’s unlikely the Dolphins will ask longtime veteran Branden Albert toleave his left-tackle spot, especially coming off a season where he was a ProBowl alternate. So you can essentially rule out that option for Tunsil enteringhis rookie season.

I am good seeing Tunsil play LG to start his career... He can also cover the loss of either tackle and move into either spot following this year.

It's about time we have a "good" problem on OL.

Tannenbaum was on Mike and Mike this morning- for all that people are convinced that Tunsil is going to OG, Tannenbaum toatally danced around the question, said that the team didn;t want to tip their hand as to how the Dolphins set up the OL. With Tunsil's feet that good, I'd still send James to OG for now but that's me.

So was Ezekiel Elliott ranked 1 on Miami board? I'm curious to see how they rated everyone else.

I honestly think the team doesn't know what they want to do right now and don't want to commit to anything. Tunsil will play some LT snaps in practice, so they can see how he fares.

There is a ton of time for this problem to sort itself out, and injuries and conversations can happen that calm the questionable waters a bit. Not worried one bit.

I would think preseason games will tip their hand. Probably the training camp reports will reveal the gist too.

He will play left tackle at some point this year. Albert won't play 16.
I don't like the idea of James inside though. Rather it Tunsil or Albert.
I like this problem though.

Let the kid play LT from day one, he has elite technique there. He will be better than Albert ever was barring anything crazy happening like injuries. Kick Albert to LG even if he throws a hissy fit. (he will just get hurt anyway) Sign Slauson. Let Albert go after this year.

Tunsil, Albert, Pouncey, Slauson/Turner, James... I can get down with that.

As long as Gase brings this innovative gameplanning and scheme we keep hearing about, it could be money.. Especially with all our speed and explosive players on O now.

Such a bad article from Walker. There is no question this kid is a LT. If he indeed starts out at LG, thats just because we have a solid LT in place already and the kid is talented enough to kick inside and stand pat for a year until Albert's contract becomes more cuttable in a year, Albert gets hurt or we get a solid trade offer for him during this offseason.

If he is any good, he will take over the LT spot by midseason if Albert starts to have problems. Otherwise, I expect that the spot is his next year.

I would hope that we could find enough good guard play so he could work in as a Tackle all season.

But if he is one of the best five we have, he should play.

If someone has to play out of position, make the rook do it. That way you only have one person "in training".

Here is why I don't like that option - if Albert gets hurt, they'll likely move Tunsil to LT and put someone else at LG (Bushrod?). Now one injury causes a shuffle of two positions on the OL and neither of them got sufficient reps in practice.

I want them to stop shuffling the line for every injury. Have the backups come in to replace the injured players.
