ESPN: Which franchise rules your city?

His comment on Denver is ridiculous. true it is a Bronco town without question but these folks are hockey crazy as well. Go Av's!! Jeez. Reilly lives in Boulder too. he knows better.

Wow, no Heat? :err:
Lol, seriously. That's the biggest BS I've read in a while. No disrespect to the Miami Dolphins', but ****, the Miami Heat actually sells tickets on 41 games because they actually win, with the exception of last season. Plus, they have a legitimate National Superstar and Gold Medalist as their franchise player and the face of the franchise.

Before last season, the Heat have sold out most games. Hell, they didn't even start selling tickets last season untill their was a report that Wade was going to be back for the Sonics game (I think it was the Sonics).

They also won a championship less than 35 years ago...

Still, the NFL is the biggest American sports league, and so any city with an NFL franchise should be ruled by that franchise, good or bad.

Not true at all. I would say Red Wings and the Pistons rule the city of Detroit.

I would also say the Phoenix Suns rule Phoenix and Arizona over the Cardinals.

And I'll give the nod to the Red Sox over the Patriots for Boston.

The guy who wrote this article must be a bitter Mavericks' fan.

Those places you mentioned are merely like Miami a couple of years ago when the Heat had the Finals run, and before that with the Marlins...those cities are just tired of losing in football, but that does not mean that if you asked them all if they'd prefer their NFL team to win the Super Bowl, or their NBA/NHL/MLB team...the vast majority would choose football. I know a lot of Detroit Lions fans, and they hate management and all that, but they'd give anything to have a competitive team, same in Arizona.

At This Moment In Nyc I Would Have 2 Go With The Mets, and Than The Giants And The Reason Is The Yankees Are The Laughing Stock Of The City, And A Lot Of Young Kids Are Becoming Mets Fans And The Mets Are Gonna Be In The Playoffs And The Yanks Are Finished. The Reason I Didnt Go With The Giants Is Due 2 The Jets Getting Brett. Now U See A Bunch Of Proud Jets Fans Running Around

I never thought i'd see the day.

As I've said before, the Heat sell out, the Dolphins don't always and the Marlins never have.

Take the Dolphins, take the Marlins...

Stick them in a dome...

More fans will come. The Dolphins would definitely sell out and the Marlins would triple attendance because people in South Florida love the Marlins more than most people realize.
