ESPN’s Football Power Index - Record Predictor

i guarantee we win at least 4 games. our roster may be paper thin but we are a much better coached team it seems. I think this squad with Gase would win 1 or 2 games but we are going to put in work unlike before.

Our oline sux... but it always has. This oline is actually better at every position other than left tackle than it has been in past years.

Our QB's are better this year than they have been in years. Our defensive scheme and game planning cant possibly be worse than the **** show Burke put together.

I see us getting better, not worse. Kenny Stills and Alonso were both rumored about being cut. We ended up getting picks for them instead.

Tunsil is worth less than 2 first round picks and a 2nd. That is essentially what we got for him. Sorry but you make that trade every single time. I would have been pissed to know we passed on 2 first rounders and a 2nd rounder for Tunsil. This trade increases the likelihood of finding a QB and helps us to be in prime position to dominate the next 2 drafts. A no brainer.

I like what this regime is doing. They are setting the ground work to fix this team. Dont get me wrong, they could still **** the bed like they have in the past but with these many picks early on, we give ourselves a chance to improve our team substantially by the next 3 to 4 years.

Really two questions need to be answered.

How bad will this offensive line be and can we get enough pressure on the QB despite not having a good pass rusher on the roster.

If the offense can some how manage to be even a little below average but not terrible and if we can create at least some pressure . . . This team is going to be competitive every week and win a few games.

If we are abused on the OLine and we can't manufacture pressure, we'll be embarrassed in several games and will be lucky to avoid a winless season.

“Miami can’t be stopped”

Miami proceeds to lose next four games in a row, Miss the playoffs, and finish 8-8.

That’s the only believable part of this list lol

Hahaha! This is funny but, I just did this on my Madden Game with our current roster and Fitz at QB. My sim got us to 7-9. Pathetics 11-5. Yets 6-10. JiLLLLs 6-10. WTF! AFC Champs Steelers 12-4. NFL Champs Saints 12-4. Super Bowl Champs Saints. 38-35. Weird huh?

So let's look at this rationally and unemotionally. Our LG, Deiter is better than last year. Our RT, Jesse Davis, has a year more experience and is returning to his preferred spot of RT, so likely he'll be better. Kilgore was decent before the injury last year, so he'll be better than the center we actually played most games. Yes, huge downgrade in Tunsil, and whomever plays RG will be a step down from James at RT, so overall we'll be worse … but I don't think we'll be the worst in the league this year if we stay healthy. Just horrid in spots and mediocre everywhere else.

Fitzmagic is just that ….... magic. He'll win some games we have no business winning, and he'll lose some winnable games. But, we will not go winless with Fitzmagic at the helm, assuming he stays at the helm long enough to find one of his hot streaks.

Our defense will be hard pressed not to be better despite having worse personnel.

We'll be worse than last year, but we'll win a game or two almost certainly.

When you say “guarantee” at least 4 wins and if Miami gets 3 or less what are we all getting in return?

I doubt it, but nothing would surprise me in the NFL. It really is inches between the very best and avg teams in the NFL. But it's so weird to be sitting here thinking God I hope we don't have that good of a season. I want to see the 2020 and 2021 plan come together. Doing this well in 2019 IMO would force the front office to shift their plans. More importantly I think Ross would force the front office to change the plans. And in the long run I think we end up back in the 8-8 rinse and repeat cycle.

If that happens (3-1 start) many "fans" will be after Flores

to get fired for winning way too much!
This will be the only season I recall where the more losses Miami has the more popular the HC will be.

Cam Cameron would be a legend if this year was his one year as a HC.

I see this is gonna be the homer thread.

Lol

This team blows and won't make much noise in the win column. Luckily I will love to watch players like Baker, X, Minkah, and others perform well. But other players will cost us games and that's ok.

:hclap: … I just knew you had it in there somewhere … I agree … this team isn't built (yet) for dominance but we are going to surprise some teams (and some posters) this season... I think 4 wins is the floor
