Eugene Monroe or Michael Oher

Hey, with a healthy Gibson, Hartline, Matthews, and Wallace 2nd year with T-hill, with all the cap space we got, with our main priority is to resign, Grimes, Patterson and Solia, we need to get the 4 of the best offensive linemen of who's available. Because going into the the season the only question mark we had about our oline was Martin. We never envision they would be this bad..

I never saw the movie. Not a big Sandy B fan.
Very good movie with a very good message. Sandra Bullock was excellent as was Lou Holtz, Nick Saban and Philip Fulmer playing SEC coaches trying to recruit Michael Oher. The movie cost $29M to make and generated box office revenue of over $300M. I recommend it.

Sandra Bullock tells the high school coach how to maximize Oher's blocking skills. She could help Jim Turner and Mike Sherman's play calling. Sort of like when we got the whole Ginn family in the 2007 draft.

Oher has struggled bad this year.

His reputation has always been better than his actual play on the field. He's always been a solid pro, but there is a perception that he is an upper echelon player, most likely due to his life story played out on film (The Blind Side).
I would NOT throw the bank on him.

Oher has been horrible the last two years. This year (RT), he ranks # 56 of 63 OT's, which is behind Mckennie, Martin, and Clabo. Last year (LT-14, RT-2), he was #47. I think I'll pass. :)

Valdheer is just coming back from injury but has been a beast at LT. Everything I've seen has Monroe staying in Balt. Albert is playing very well but will be overpriced.

Why rebuild the whole line. Mckinnie could be a band-aid for another year.......and hopefully Cogs gets reinstated. Wishfull thinking.

Not getting the guy from Oakland. They only have about 60 million in cap room next year. Oher would be good at the right price. Draft a LT in the first, and a guard by round 3 and we will be ok.

My over-under number for new corn fed boys next year is +8.

I agree with the Mckinney one more year thing. Did he sign a multi-year deal?

Draft two T's and there is depth at the position for sure.

Draft one G and get a couple more after the draft. Brenner may end up being a keeper if he keeps his good work going.

Saying no to FA T's completely. Too much money when you can score in this draft on a couple of them. I also would not be opposed to bringin back Clabo for one year cheaper if possible. Offer him lowball. He has fixed his problems IMO this second half. That way you can keep some Vet presence on both sides for cheaper and groom your rooks and get them in if old folks start to dissapoint.

All everyone needs to know is they would both be upgrades and we will sign neither.. Unfortunately those are almost facts

Oher has had more penalties than any other NFL player in the last three years....49....that's an average of one a game. No thanks. Don't get a stiffy over him just because he was in a movie with Sandra Bullock.

I agree, but I do have to confess, I do get a stiffy over Sandra Bullock.

I was just about to post a similar topic. But it was for Michael Oher. I say back the brinks truck up for the guy next year. I'm all in on the Oher train.

Is this before or after we back up that same brinks truck at Bret Grimes house?
