Even a Patriots Planet fan Guarantee's

I'll care what they think when they start pronouncing their Rs.

Well, to be fair...1. Game one is in Miami...2. Miami has been playing the Patrots well the last few years (including both games last year)...3. Brady is playing less and less like the old Brady every years, Tannehill is looking more and more like a franchise QB every year...4. It being the 1st game Belicheat will have no real film on what Miami's plan will be game one, so for the 1st time in a long time, what info he gets with films, spys, or signing of former Miami dolphins will help very little in his game plan, making it an even slate for both teams.

In simple words, don't count out Miami being able to win game one.
100% chance that the pats will pick up our 6th or 7th WR or last cut TE, so he can pick his brain for week one. BB will know our offense better than Tannehill by kickoff. Our offense makes the other team's defense play honest. If you don't stay at home we will attack your weakness, just like the TD to Gibson, if they had stayed at home rather than trying to overplay the run action, it would have been an easy stop. The way our offense is designed you have to be able to run right at them if they aren't biting on the fakes. We will have to rush for 150+ to have a shot vs the pats.

It's funny to watch their entitlement slipping out from under them, to see their dynasty become a thing of the past rather than a thing of the present. Some of them see it coming, some of them don't. As I've stated here already, the wheels are going to come off that wagon when TFB's reaction time slows even more. (Note: It's going to happen to Peyton too.)

I've sent Simmons more than one pokes about "Aging Tom Brady," because he always loved to take digs at "Aging Dan Marino." He hasn't acknowledged yet.

I don't see anything he said as all that crazy. If you went around the league I think a lot of fans from a lot of different teams would see the dolphins about the same. We are a team that hasn't went to the playoffs or had a winning season since 08. We haven't won a playoff game since dinosaurs roamed the planet. We were considered one of the lower teams in the league by most everyone. THEN we have one of the most embarrassing events in recent memory and lose 4 starters from our OL with the 5th one injured. What are they supposed to think??

We see things coming together, we see things from camp, from our new OC/OL coaches that give us hope, but from an outsider looking in I can easily see how people could see things like these posters see them. SOME team has to be worst, and from the outside looking in I can see how other fans could see that as being us. We can talk about 1972 til the cows come home, but until we prove that we deserve respect on the field we can expect others to see us as a team that hasn't won a playoff game in over a decade.

But on the flip side of all of that, just think of how sweet it will be when things DO finally start to come together and we can be a team that EARNS repect on the field rather than begging for it. It would certainly be nice to start those earnings come opening week, vs that arrogant bunch from Boston. It could happen, but until it does don't expect for threads like the ones on those pats boards to go away, nor should they.

Please tell us you don't really fall into this category of thinking. You're joking, right? Though I will gather this is strictly my fault for viewing your post despite being on my ignore list.

If your benchmark is 5000 yards and 35 TD's sure. He is still one of the top 3 QB's in the league.

No he won't, maybe Bill will have an idea of our offense, but there will be new wrinkles, new plays, game planning involved, which will still leave Bill with little info.

Considering there will only be a little game planning in preseason game 3, and none during #2 and 4, there will be little information for Bill to learn how Miami will be using the Offense to attack. You can also add the playbook being kind of vanilla right now, this offense is going to slowly evolve with new wrinkles and plays during the season, starting with practice in Week 1.

What Bill will get is only a little more information with the players he picks up, then he already probably knew with the preseason film, because it's a new offense, and the Pats are playing Miami in week 1, Billy boy's intelligence will help him very little this.

No actually my bench mark is how Brady looked against Miami, and how Tannehill looked agianst the Pats last year in both games.

My bench mark is last year Brady had a QBR of 87.3 way down from his 98.7 the year before in 2012, which was down from 105.6 the year before that in 2011...Brady is slowly going downward.

As for Tannehill he went from 76.1 to 81.7.

For the record I am not saying Tannehill is on the level of QB that Brady is, or that Brady is no longer a top QB, but he is no longer as big a difference maker as he used to be.

Thats fine but he still passed for 4000+ yards and 25 TD's and is still in the elite class of QB's. Also how much of his low rating was due to having noone at the WR and TE positions. One would have expected his numbers to drop. Saying he could be in decline, but IMO it was moreso having Edleman as a #1 with 2 rookies behind him and noone else.

JDAM ! I seem to recall a Pats home game a few years ago where the Phins had 0 chance of winning. The Hoodie was always ready for whatever opponents could draw up. Well that was until Miami went wildcat all over their a$$es.

It was said somewhere around here that Pats scrimmaging Eagles is to learn Chip Kelly O for us. If that is indeed true, then BB is worried. Tannehill is now Fred Astair using similar game schemes Brady uses....only our overall skillset at WR is much better.

Wouldn't read that into it...they practiced against them last year too.
