First and foremost, even if Wallace catches that ball we lose. Let's just get that out there. If Wallace pulls that in, he's down at the 3 and we don't make it to the line in time to spike. Not sure if that makes this better or worse...

Now, was it a perfectly thrown ball? Nope. Maybe this is part of the reason why:

Did Wallace do a poor job tracking the ball in the air? Yep. For some strange reason, Wallace spins around and ends up making things far more difficult for him to pull it in. Probably should have continued on a straight line. Fact is, this was a LOW percentage play that shouldn't have been half as close as it was.

Not to say for sure that we lose, but nice job on the freeze frame pics!

My only objection was that if he tracks that properly, he has a chance of falling into the end zone.

I'm sorry, but that was an insanely incredible throw from Tannehill. He was on his own 33 yard line and threw the ball all the way to the goal line while getting hit!?!?

That is INSANE arm strength

That was 63 yard pass through the air while getting hit. That is mind boggling to me...

With 11 seconds, and a potential winning TD, there would have been time to run up and spike the ball on the 2/3 yard line IF the entire offense sprinted up field as soon as the ball was put in the air. That being said, Tannehill took a shot and was on the ground so that made it virtually impossible

And it was after this game that we had people comparing his arm strength to that of Chad Pennington. :sidelol:

Didn't realize how far that ball was thrown. Wow.

Ya, I don't think many people recognized this at the time. I did and I was honestly confused that the ball got all the way to the endzone.

People criticizing that throw are either blind, have a vendetta or just not paying attention.

It was a very long throw, that if more accurate, might have very well been the winning touchdown. I am sick.
I even took it out on my wife. (Not physically, but I was an A-Hole for the rest of the evening).
I thought I was a better man today. I guess I'm like the Dolphins. I will never change.

Guess What Dude? Without Wallace yesterday we would have scored 6 points. He was the one who was open all day. Caught the Underthrown Touchdown for 7, and caught the Underthrown pass for 57 that set up the Field Goal. 10 Points Wallace was responsible for. So for all the Wallace haters, we would have no playmakers on this team. Cant keep giving away guys like this.

It hit the receiver in the hands. I don't know how much more accurate you want a throw f that distance to be...

I'm not hating on Wallace, Tannehill did miss ok several throw to him all day, but this last one was not on Tannehill. It was a mind boggling effort by RT, and Wallace had it in his hands and dropped it. Who knows if he would have stumbled into the endzone or not, but it would have been incredible to witness nonetheless

If Tanny isn't getting hit, I bet the ball ends in a different place, maybe Wallace doesn't catch it anyway, but at least it's in a better spot. I'm up in the air about Philbin, I was down, but the teams shown up to play since the god-awful Tampa showing....so I give him credit for that. Having said that, if we had an average offensive line, not even great mind you, just average....I think we'd be at least 7-4 if not 8-3. And I blame two people the most for that. Jeff Ireland and the online coach. Ireland for not bringing in adequate talent at the second most important positional group(after QB). And the oline coach, for not keeping his unit cohesive and keeping them from having a lovers spat. Doesn't matter which side your on, Incog or Martin, the coach for those 10 guys failed them.

In summation....I think the oline needs a new coach, we need a new GM and Sherman should be questioned severely if not canned.

A more accurate throw?????????????????????????
There is no Qb in this world that throws pinpoint 65 yard passes. This isn't madden football it is real life with wind and hard charging d linemen.

The throws may look accurate or inaccurate because the receiver adjusts too it.

I am not hating on wallace because he is a weapon but adjusting to passes in midair is not one of his strong suits.
