At the end of the game, the announcers (Dierdorf and Greg Gumbel) were talking about Miami. They were saying basically that the only good thing to take from this game was that the defense was still scrapping and playing hard. they said it's been like this the last 10 years....

and boomer esiason said "i wouldn't wanna be a football player in miami this week" since Nick Saban should be grinding the hell out of them this week and making them work really hard.

Doesn't it seem like we've been watching the same Miami team for the last 5 years? loaded with talent, but constantly shooting themselves in the foot...

Oh and Culpepper reminded me of a deer in headlights today. Why was he so nervous and jittery? Hopefully he can shape up... today he was our worst player (we all thought he was gonna be an improvement)

That same defense has also consistently crapped the bed in big situations COUNTLESS times during that same span of time.

No one gets free passes after today...

yah sure, like a blocked punt. oh how about an interception on your 10 yard line. oh yah how about daunte not getting rid of the ball and getting dropped 7 times. all three of those things we could have avoided easily..

our defense was definitely not the part to blame for this game... for being on the field SO long, they played really well...

Culpepper shot them in the foot. The Bills played a solid game but Frerotte probably would have beaten them if he would still been on the team. Buffalo wasn't exactly lighting things up on the scoreboard. If Miami could have even played like a mediocre offense they would have won. Congratulations anyway.

If we lose to the Titans, then we're worse than the 2004 team.

I'm not blaming them but I am sure the hell not gonna give them any credit...

We're 8 quarters into the season and they have not forced a turnover....enough said.

You're right about that.

No we def shot ourselves in the foot. Very rarely in the NFL does a team's QB throw for 83 yards while only completing 1 pass in the first half and someone say "We outplayed them". The Bills didnt "outplay" anybody. The Phins were not mentally prepared and it was their own mistakes that cost them the game....the Bills longest play of the game was a PI call...

Our defense was solid today. Culpepper is on a short leash now. I would have pulled him today being the coach.

Yeah me too. I kept thinking of that Washington game in 03 where Griese was looking lost, a lot like culpepper is, and he gets yanked late in the 3rd and Fiedler of all people comes in, takes control of the offense and we win.

nah can't pull him after 2 games.. if he plays like this for another 2 games, deer in headlights style, that's when he gets pulled.

Yeah, and I dont know if im the only one who saw this but Cullpepper did'nt throw the long ball well at all today, not that he threw it a lot. But I remember a play Chambers had the db beat and he had to slow down and the pass was incomplete. Hopefully in the next two weaks playing against weaker teams we can get something going
