That run by Ronnie Brown gave me chills. It was Awesome, and just a teaser of what is to come for this young kid. I truly believe that he could end up being widely reguarded as the best overall back in the league some day. Anybody with me???

Definitely. I can't think of anyone right now who has his qualities. LT comes close but he isn't going to run over anyone like that.

I was thinking they ought to credit him a tackle for that run aswell. He just punished that defender.

thats great and all.....but how many times did Barry Sanders play on a Lions team below .500? lots...so until we get some blockers...a QB...and some CB's and Safties....Ronnie Brown might be the only thing good on this team.....and that just doesnt win a whole lot of games.

What was even more remarkable to me about the run was that 1) he didn't seem very fazed by the hit, and 2) he kept such good balance after it that he was able to collect himself, stay in bounds, and get back up to top speed very quickly. I agree with the original poster -- I think Ronnie could very well be regarded as the best RB in the league within a couple years.

Do you think Scott's offensive game-plan will ever allow Ronnie to flourish/? Hopefully he wil adjust to his players skills and not expect his players to adjust to his schemes

I think Saban will have a "talking to" with Linehan this week actually.

Why do you think that he is right this is one guy who can be the most complete back in the nfl in the future he picks up blitzes, he works in a two back formation and he isnt hogging the ball he wants to win in a team way.

Wow .. what a quality post MiamiMuscle. Let the guy think what he wants...why is everyone feel like they need to put down/make fun of someones post. The person who made this thread feels Ronnie can be the best back the league (during the years he is playing) in a few years. I also feel that Ronnie can be regarded as the best back in the league in a few years. He has all the tools, and once we start handing him the ball 15-20 times, hes gonna flourish even more.
