I still see something in this team. The heart never to quit even with all the mistakes.

Some Positives:
~ Ronnie Brown, what can I say about him. This is the first time I actually got to see him. He impressed me with his vision and power.

The playcalling on O. We were calling the right plays to exploite the Bills but for whatever reason, never really turned out well.

~Run blocking wasnt bad at all. They were nice holes. Were getting better.

Some noticeable things that we need to get or improved imo~

We need corner help and qb help most deff. but I dont think that will come around till next year through draft and f/a. Were playing good, but playing dumb, and were still almost winning. Keep your head up guys, were only a few players away, and this is for real! Not the Wanny quote either. Enjoy the groth process.

I totally agree. This team could easily be 4-0 if you take away these elementary mistakes. This is something that has to be corrected. Once it is, this team will start getting on more of a roll I believe. On the flip side, if we DON'T get it solved, we could end up sub .500.

I think the team will flutter like this all season until be have a QB that is "year 2k" sor to speak meaning able to run on the move, pocket pass, and scramble decently.

Well we all knew that the first few weeks would be a learning experience. We are better off than I thought we would be at this point. If we can get the mistakes fixed we could be a solid team by the end of the year. The future looks bright.

I agree there were some positives, and it was nice to see the team coming back at the end - this is all good, but we just plain played like crap! You turn over the ball 5 times, and commit 18 penalties on the road, you just aren't going to win!

We still could see some nice things this season, but we're apparently going to experience some major growing pains. Today really hurt!

Oh I agree, believe me. The words coming out of my mouth today when I was watching it..lol. We turned it over way to much, and somehow stuck it out to make it close. There is fight in our boys, but the mental part is really LACKING right now that makes it so unbareable to watch sometimes!

Dam, I needed a post like that, thank you, thank you.

We can have all the if's we want. If we cut down on penalties, turnovers, dropped balls, blown coverages. The reality is that we are doing those things and thus that is keeping us from gaining ground on the upper echelon of the NFL elite. Until we polish up on those mistakes and eliminate them, we will be a .500 team at best. However, there is certainly improvment from last year and all we can ask is we continue to improve game after game and that this coaching staff and organization give 100% in helping this team return to the elite. Hey, i'll take 2-2 and 2nd in the east 5 games in with Ricky coming back.

When you play as bad as we did today 5 turnovers and 18 penalties and still have a chance to win the game that is saying something about the team. Once we cut down on the stupid mistakes we will be a very good team. I just dont get how a D can be offsides like 4 times in one drive. Saban can teach dicipline all he wants but the players are the ones that have to perform it.
