Even Zaslow thinks the fans are over reacting..

Listening to 790 tonight, even Zaslow is asking people openly what was so bad about this off-season... Zaslow is a known Glass is Half Full / Negative Dolphins "fan", and even he thinks the outrage is ridiculous...

We were 6-3 in our last 9 games and looked like a better team. Yet somehow just because we didn't get a franchise quarterback this offseason, the fans are screaming for Ireland to be fired?? We signed Reggie Bush when other teams thought he wasn't even starter material.... . This year we bring in David Garrard who might end up being better than Moore if he's healthy... he's a former pro bowler who we got for cheap. Our drafts have been SOLID lately, which I wasn't able to say about the Fins through the entire Cameron / Wannstedt/ Saban era


Give it a rest people, Ireland has been an above average NFL GM lately
 
If we did listen to the fans lately, we'd have 1 less 2'nd round pick, and we'd have Kyle Orton as our QB..........

Thank god Ireland was smart enough to ignore the INSANE pressure the fan base was placing on him to trade for and sign kyle orton

Again, those are the same fans (or at least 12 of them) that were CHANTING AT OUR PRACTICES for us to sign Kyle Orton.

We would now probably have Orton/Moore as our starters going into 2012. Oh and we wouldn't have a 2'nd round pick this year.

If you take out a rare onside kick recovery from that broncos game, we're 7-2 in our last 9. That doesn't look that bad to me...

Honestly a lot of our losses we dominated the other team for a lot of the game... the team is nowhere near as bad as the fans think right now

The fans were tired of henne lol everyone liked orton because of the chemistry he had with Marshall other than that hes a decent Qb.The draft will tell i guess..
 
How could you possibly consider Ireland is doing a good job? 3 consecutive sub 500 seasons and the bleakest season is yet to come! We had blind hope in Henne stepping it up but face it we have the pats in our division!!

Idgaf who we draft having Moore hartline gates won't beat Brady Welker Lloyd Grnkowski Hernandez Branch Ocho!!!!
 
Do you not realize that their 6th option would fare as our first option in this offense?

Ugh. 6-3. If only the last 9 games were all that mattered, amirite? You guys need to stop being such Debbie downers with 6-3. We were 6-0 in the games we won!

:lol: You do realize Ireland wanted to sign him and was shot down by Ross, right? Love that he's getting credit for not being allowed to sign the mediocre QB he wanted to. Also love that the fans are the focus of your ire more than the schmucks running a 6-10 team.

so you can sit there and honestly say with a straight face the team DIDN'T look different to you after that Broncos game?

Lol? I guess the Jets weren't trying that last game of the year either when they were fighting for their playoff hopes? A team that went to the AFC championship 2 of the last 3 years? We performed very well in the second half of the season...
 
Zaslow is a piece of garbage. Talk about someone who doesn't belong on the radio talking about anything.

I wouldnt take anything he says seriously whether its positive or negative. He's the epitome of douche.

So that must mean you thought Sparano was a great HC, but Ireland kept him down. Instead of looking at record, why not look at where you can tell best how good a GM Ireland is, what he has done in the draft and FA. He has done pretty well, especially last year, where he didn't amazingly have Parcells watching and double guessing him.

Yet, if not for the Miami defense letting up in the 2nd half last year in Miami, that is exactly what looked like was about to happen....did you catch Brady's QBR in the 1st half of that game (I believe it was in the 30s), yes the Patriots ended up coming back and winning, but that shows Miami has the talent to be beating the Patriots, give the Miami players better Coaches, and the Patriots probably are not able to make a come back.

Well according to some and we never know Ireland wanted to trade for him but was vetoed by owner so what does that say about ireland
