I'd love to trade Rudy Seanez for anything thing.... even a case of Keystone Light
I'll give you a case of Big League Chew for Jonathon Papelbon...any flavor you want.

This reminds me of the movie "Almost Famous":

"They traded you for 3 cases of beer!"
"Was it good beer?"

There was a soccer player who I believe was from Hungary or Bulgaria...somewhere around there....he got traded for a big slab of beef.

Here's the ultimate in getting fair value for a trade: the Mets acquired C Harry Chiti from the Indians for a player to be named later. Well, when they named the player, it was none other than...Harry Chiti! The guy was traded for himself.

Although Big League Chew is awesome, Papelbon is even better, at least he gets guys out, unlike Seanez who I'd trade for Jorge Julio right now! (Yes Mets fan he's worse than Julio).

That happened in 2004 with the Red Sox and Cubs and Jimmy Anderson was the player. I believe Jason Stark said "the trade was the most even trade in baseball history".

No kidding? I thought Chiti was the only time that happened. Well, I suppose Stark was wrong...it was TIED for the most even trade in baseball history. :)
