What is tough with getting such a hard game out of the box is that you wait all offseason for the thing to get started and you lose your first game, and every time you lose you die alittle. I kind of like opening at home with a bad team and winning the first game, the bills game cant come any faster

I have often wondered how bad of a meltdown we would have seen if we had lost to Denver last year...think about it..this crap pales by relative comparison...

I still burn from the Texan game tho...

You got that spot on. Texan game was a nightmare come true. Denver game was above expectancy.

I had a druken Texan fan right behind me...he was in his late sixties so I couldn't just grab a handful and tell him to shut up.

Hell!!

Well, it's not good at all to loss the first one, but it was in Pitts and the ofense is geting use to DC & the secondary still making those mental mistake. Is not that bad at all, but it suck (like the propellers). Bufalo is the one who is going to pay the bill for this one. GO DOLPHINS!! :dolphins:

Ps as the season progress we will get better

I'm withya

I died a bit Thursday night but I feel better. We could conceivable go 15-1...not likely, but I'm speaking hypothetically. Some great teams have lost their first game of the year.

I actually felt sick Thursday night it hurt so bad. Is it healthy to care that much for a sports team? I know its only one game and we have the rest of the season to go and all of that, but damn.... I was pretty depressed (still am)

I still think that holding call on Rickys 40 yd run to the 1 yd line, is responsible for our over-all decline.
Big part of the domino effect.

Oooof!

That was a complete embarrassment.
That game was the greatest representation of how inept the staff of this team was back then. To be so flat and unprepared for a doormat team.

I sometimes really have trouble believing those 5 years really happened to this franchise. It all seemed too much like a horrible joke gone wild. Yuck.

You know why?

Everybody fell so bad and that is because we were winning that dame game with tha ball and only 6 min on the clock, that why it hurt so much. Remember Hottie and the blowfish "and the DOLPHINS make me cry", Don worry we will WIN big time next weekend. GO DOLPHINS!! :dolphins:

the most painful loss I've had since DAN retired, maybe because of the high expectations, I don't know.

:yeahthat:

Anyone who is that emotionaly scarred by a game needs to get some perspective. Try your wife haveing a baby....Try, marrying said woman...Try...I dunno...Damn..get over it. It's a game.
