Every Marino TD pass form 1984!

Is there a way to save this on the computer to keep? or if anyone knows how to get a copy of this game let me know. This was the first Fin game I went to and from time to time try to find a copy of it. It was also the last game in the Kingdome

One of the things to notice is how many of these passes were thrown under heavy pressure. You compre that to Brees this year and there is a huge difference - in the vast majority of cases there is noone anywhere near him.

I had the Sports Illustrated mag with Clayton leaping over D.Green in the endzone. Fell victim to a cat with a spastic bladder. Probably a jets fan.

I like the video. The one thing I did notice was that Duper and Clayton were really great receivers. I mean really great. They were open for those passes. Wide open.

JJ reallly screwed up by taking the ball out of Dan's hands....and not letting him audible. Dan decided to take over on that drive....

EDIT: I was referring to the video post that shows Dan's last 4th quarter comeback drive.

Do you just naturally look at the bad side of everything? :ponder:

not drafting a qb first round since 1984 you would think we would learn by now. best quarteback ever just treated like crap by dolphins as they forced him out so they could sign jay fielder. Yes Marino videos do bring up great memories of him and bad memories of how bad this team has been ran

as immobile as Marino seemed he had the best pocket presence I have ever seen. Guy rushing in from left him take one step up.

Marinos last win. Nice thing about this clip is you get a nice dose of the great Jim Mandich

almost forgot some of that. amazing that jj quit on us and then they forced marino out after this season. marino was hurt most of the year but looked great in this game and like crap versus jville but you had to give him a chance the next season

I have both of those issues of Sports Illustrated !!!!!!(Marino and Kosar and Dangerous Dan)

Thanks for the memories. I was at that Orange Bowl for the Monday night game against Dallas.

Shula had to come onto the field to quiet the crowd several times. He was god like waving his arms.

Same thing on the Monday night game against Chicago. The refs had to actually delay the game because the crowd was so loud that Chicago couldn't hear the snap count. Shula was waving his arms trying to quiet the crowd but all it did was make them louder. I think it took around 10 minutes of delays before Chicago finally gave up trying. Imagine that. It was so loud you couldnt hear the snap count or audibles. You don't ever see that anymore. The OB used to be the loudest stadium in the NFL with people banging on those metal benches.

edit: found the clip lol

There's the team I love and the reason I became a fan. That release was superhuman. On top of the insane physical gifts, he read a defense so ****ing quickly. No dicking around back in the pocket staring at the D with a mixture of confusion and desperation like so many QBs. He would obliterate today's NFL.

I think the video shows you how athletic he was. He moved way better then anyone gave him credit for, especially before he got injured. What is amazing is how balanced and ready he is to throw the ball after he is forced to move his feet. Every great quarterback had or has that ability and that is why, in my opinion, Chad Henne will never be better than an average, at best, quarterback. He absolutely sucks when he is forced to move his feet. He rarely can reset his feet and find alternate receivers if he has to move or if his primary receiver is covered.
