every team that uses their ROOKIE QB has done 10 TIMES better against teams 10 TIMES better then our SCHEDULE last year while we play a NOODLE for QB.

PLAY HENNE PENNY IS DONE!

i told youg uys everyone is going ot make PENNY throw to the sidelines and they will defend the middle and thats what they did. teh RAVENS exposed our weakness with NOODLE arm and thats what happened again, its a copy cat league.

this game was a CLONNENNNNNEEEE of the ravens playoff loss

It is looking like the theory of starting rookie QB's being a negative is being proven wrong in this day and age.

It's all about having a good overall team to take pressure off the rookie. Cassell and Flacco only had to worry about not making mistakes instead of trying to win games. Same with Sanchez. Stafford had 3 interceptions and 0 td's today. It's that simple.

What was it that Henne did to make you think he's even close to starter material? Oh wait :tumbleweed:

Henne hasn't done a thing because he's standing on the sidelines...

These guys have to get over their little Pennington fantasy....it ain't happening....

They either need to find out if Henne can be the guy or they're no better than any of the last 3 regimes....

There's not a ****ing quarterback starting in this league that showed they could be a starter standing on the sidelines....

whats ur excuse for Brees changing hte culture almost single handedly after that disaster year they had?
or what about Matt Ryan?
or Balt went from a team with ZERO offense to a team WITH offense with flacco.
Or the jets wetn from a 4 win season WITH PENNINGTON then won 10 with Favre and looked very good against a good texans teamtoday with a rookie.
Etc etc etcc

I'm not a doom and gloom guy by any stretch of the imagination, but seeing the Flacco's and the Ryan's and the Sanchezes of the world play and be successful is kind of starting to wear thin on me. Stafford may have had 3 INT's and 0 TD's, but the Lions put up 27 points by being able to be more than one dimensional. Dink and dunk, 2 beast running game and expensive O-Line couldn't even match that. It sucks and I hate it.

I too am getting fed up with the Henne should wait, he needs more seasoning, he's not ready crap. It seems that there are quite a few teams who are doing very well with their rookie qbs. Let Henne get on the field and show what he can or can not do. You need to know if this dog will bite, and if he does'nt than prepare your draft accordingly.

I have been converted, time for Henne to start. I don't care how bad he looked in pre-season. I realize he may throw 3 or 4 pick 6's this year, but I will accept that as long as he can score 2 or 3 touchdowns a game. Penny looked old and timid out there - let the young man play and if he sucks then put White.

Fantasy? What fantasy is there when Pennington had the year he had last year? He managed the offense, moved the chains, put up numbers that almost got him to the Pro Bowl, and led the team to an AFC East Championship.

Yes, the offense is limited with him there, but he's the best we have. The ones fantasizing on this board are you Henne fools. Henne hasn't shown all that much, at least not enough to show he should start. I trust the guys in position to make these decisions.

I just don't get the whining. Can anyone say that Henne is the better starter? Would the Dolphins have won the AFC East last year with Henne? Is Henne going to bring us farther than Pennington? We're one loss into the season and you people want to FIND OUT if Henne can start? How bout we wait til we're out of playoff contention before making such big changes with an unproven player to find out if it'll work?

There's a lot of football to be played. Last year they lost the first two and then won 11 of the next 14 games. The Dolphins don't do that without Pennington. "Fantasy". Geez. What a joke.

Hey genious, we were avg like 14 pts a game against teams like STL, SF, OAK, etc and we won all those LAST SECOND basically with luck.

we don't or should I say "PENNY" doesn't have the luxory of playing against ****ty teams like that this year. Pitts, SD, Indy, just to name a few.

those teams will make soup with Pennys noodle arm.

I apreciate what Penney did for us last year, and no I'm not certain that Henne is the answer. What is certain is that Penney played as well as he can possibly play last year and I don't see him as the future, we need to find out if Henne is the real deal or not, if we play out this year and go 9-7 which would be a good year for us considering our schedule then we may possibly make the playoffs but be knocked out first round by a good defense that knows we have no verticle game. We would have wasted a year in Henne's development and if he isn't the answer we are stuck trying to draft one again. I for one am tired of the dink and dunk offense
