Every sack the Dolphins gave up last year

So you know how many routes were on that side of the field? There were 2. The hit came with less then 2 seconds from the snap. It may have been a combo route designed to have one receiver come open. It's odd how so many presume to know what was happening on the field or in the huddle. For the most part both QB's sacks were quick and beyond their control, there were a few where the QB's could have stepped up ala Marino to avoid the pressure rather then running into the pressure. I'm most surprised there were not more fumbles.

Thats exactly what Im talking about. Henne has no pocket presence. He cant sense the pressure coming and he has no idea where to move to buy himself an extra second. He also lacks the quickness that the good QBs have in order to do this. His footwork is a joke. ROBO.

Im not so sure if it would help him to buy the extra second anyway. The guy is too chicken **** to throw the ball unless his receiver is open by 20 yards. And that is probably due to the fact he knows he cant hit the broad side of a ****ing barn with his passes and needs a wide margin for error to complete throws.

The idea that this guy is an NFL QB is just a ****ing joke. I dont understand what people who think this guy should be starting are looking at.

Henne's dropback is too short, he's taking baby steps.
Carey was SLOW to react.
RB's whiffed a few.

When they announced they were going to try to give Carey less money or release him I immediately said it was a good idea. Got blasted. Dude wasn't worth the money he was making.

Also, Henne manages to have NEGATIVE pocket presence. How is it even possible?

A ton of those sacks were Henne's fault. Had he had any pocket presence or any precision he would have been able to maneuver around the defender or gotten rid of the ball to the open guy. Instead he decides to scramble and run into a wall like a ****ing idiot. Maybe he should literally go into a wall like Gus Frerotte.

Oh yeah Jerry and his whole 2 sacks allowed...what a terrible pass blocker.

He had more then that. you also forget how many games did he really play in ?By the end of the season he was sitting the bench.

Yeah, Vernon is pretty bad that is why they were so close to releasing him a couple of weeks ago. But I believe the real story in watching this video, you get an insight to why the Dolphins brass drafted Pouncey. Joe Berger was pathetic! Almost every sack, you see the pocket is collapsing in the middle. The Ravens game he looked like a Raggety Ann doll!! I think Pouncey is a huge, solid upgrade over Berger! Incognito and Vernon are pretty pathetic too. The first two games of the season, The Pats and Texans will be bringing it! Sp let's hope this group can get it together and get Jake back!

You know watching all of those, one thing stands out to me, I was taught in high school. Know your reads and get it out. 3 seconds is ok but 4 and your dead. Henne holds on to the ball WAAYYYY too long. He needs to drop back set his feet and get it out. The Oline on some of these plays doesn't give him too much time but most of the time he is setting himself up to be sacked.

I counted 7 plays on Incognito. That's just not good enough. RBs with some halfass blocking too. Carey very ponderous at times.'the pocket is collapsing too quickly.

You do have to wonder what the hell Henne is waiting for at times.

Man our OL sucks and so does Henne..............let's get it sorted.
