Every Single DWI is Worse Than This!

I remember that crap.

I personally think any player in the NFL that is found guilty of DUI or pleads no contest, etc. should receive an IMMEDIATE one year unpaid suspension, no ifs ands or buts. A second DUI should result in permanent exile from the NFL...PERIOD. Any of these jackass millionaires (and the players that "only" make league minimum) that refuse to pay for a cab or limo or whatever, because they want to show off their cars or whatever their reasoning, should face the reality of losing their livelihood the same as any other person in this country who gets arrested for DUI - driving drunk is basically walking around with a blindfold and a gun and just randomly firing off shots, its time these athletes are held accountable for REAL. But that will never happen, because of the NFLPA and bunch of other worthless *******s.

The problem with waiting on the player to be found guilty , the player's lawyer usually somehow gets the case put off for years. In fact does anybody know what ever happened in that case. I cant find anything on it outside of his lawyers pushing it back.

Very true...but still, I think the NFL and pretty much every other professional sports org in the US doesn't seem to take DUIs seriously...Hell, Jerry Buss the late BILLIONAIRE owner of the Lakers got one just a few years before he died...they need to figure out a way to punish these people appropriately, before somebody kills someon...err wait that already happened didn't it Dante Stallworth? Good thing the league cared as much about that as they do about "bullying" LOL

For the most part DUI's are quite ignored by NFL but thats changing slowly.

First off its not a witchhunt, this analogy is downright retarded. Witches were innocent women accused of made up crimes and then executed in horrific fashion, this is an investigation based on facts. Now you may disagree with the amount of coverage this is getting, or whether or not what was done and said warrants it, but its not a witchhunt in any possible misunderstading of the term.

Second, nobody here is participating in a goddamn thing. This is a message board, people are expressing opinions, and to some extent engaging in some meaningful debate. The league is conducting an investigation, and there are legal teams involved...to my knowledge they have yet to ask any member of this board to participate in the investigation.

You actually had a decent point, but then your post descended into utter stupidity

In case you weren't being sarcastic (and allowing myself to be trolled):

witch hunt (noun)

: the act of unfairly looking for and punishing people who are accused of having opinions that are believed to be dangerous or evil

And I agree, the over-sensationalized reactions to this are laughable.

I heard Chris Carter this morning rambling about how "This is the worst thing to happen to the NFL in years..." REALLY? REALLY Chris?

This is a childish feud between two adults who have taken things WAY too far. Somehow this is a major issue in American sports today. I deal with this **** every day, people need to man up, these are just WORDS.

No one should be fired. The only two people who should be reprimanded are Incognito and Martin. WHY is the whole Dolphins organization being drawn in to this?

If people weren't looking to place blame on independent third parties (ie. the coaching staff and management), I'd agree with you.

But because this "investigation" is searching for guilt or negligence on behalf of the coaching staff and management, I think the term "Witch-Hunt" is aptly applied.

Hell, I see a few jest fans on here sanctimoniously brimming with holier than thou condemnation. Aaron Berry - kicked off the Lions after his second felony - so what was worse, Richie or pointing a gun at 3 people in a Harrisburg PA parking lot? Signed for 2 years I believe. The only reason they got Holmes was because the Rooneys washed their hands of him after he assaulted a woman in a club with a glass (not the splash). And then there's Kenrick Ellis who was drafted with a felony charge for assault hanging over his head - after being kicked out of U of Spurrier for multiple drug offenses. Where's the moral indignation there?

Usng the N word is not kewl, but we don't know the context. Yet Richie is being tarred and feathered by all these hypocrites yet has anyone had the courage to ask why in a league consisting of close to 70% African Americans, the 6 players that Ndomikung Suh viciously assaulted were caucasion.. and what that means? You can bet your bottom dollar that you won't hear that from the Monday Nite hypocrites, team cancers, junkies and killers nor from Skip "Water Pistol Pete" Brainless or his partner in idiocy Steve Smith. And then there's Riley Cooper who everyone loves again after 5 TD catches in 2 weeks when those same morons were pronouncing his football career dead. Yet Richie is the pinata over a word not a deed. Go figure

You always try to deflect, notice those things aren't happening w/ the Jets? but it was ok for Richie to have all his off field incidents b/c he's a dolphin, right? it's ok to lead the division in arrests the last decade+, stop deflecting w/ stuff that has nothing to do w/ this situation. It doesn't make your team look any better.

The funny thing is the title of this thread is about DWIs and you guys had TWO in 2010 yet nothing happened w/ either guy, then when it happened to one of our guys you wanted him suspended. Hypocrisy.(by the way, I anted Braylon suspended too, any DWI/DUI should be an automatic suspension but you guys wanted nothing to happen to your TWO players and wanted our player suspended).

two wrongs don't make a right, you're correct, but as the saying goes, "he who can cast the first stone" ....."sure ain't a jest fan"

and before you hijack this in typical fashion queueing up the inevitable lastworditis, I'll post this new graphic developed just for each and every hypocrite wearing puke green who's been invading our site thinking they have a right to gloat... and I don't consider it a deflection when enemy fans come in with guns ablazin, often in a fashion that would routinely get fins fans banned in jets forums, who never have come in here to point out their own team's mea culpas in real time . And that'll be it for me, unless I need to continually repost this ad nauseum

note: although beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that last paragraph is directed more toward those who selectively choose to come in to hypocritically dump on us.

here we go, he has them on command.

Favre is a jerk. whoever helped him should have been fired.

Rex and teammates sexually harassing reporter:lol2: I love when you make stuff up b/c you have nothing.

What rex does in his bedroom(and wherever else) is btw him and his wife.

has Holmes gotten in trouble w/ the law here?

has Cro done anything here? You had no issue w/ Ricky in Miami who a)did drugs and b)fathered and left many different children. I wonder why that is?

Goodson blew up in their face.

has Ellis had any issues here?

That assistant coach was immediately suspended them lost his job.

did Aaron berry do anything wrong here?

That was your interpretation about hot sauce and that led you guys to cheer Revis getting hurt- all class!

so you support Richie who paid off a woman while a dolphin and the organization hid out but bash mark for what he may have done at USC? Interesting.

Here is the book of vaark:

If you are a dolphin you can sign any player w/ any checkered past, if you are another team it's bad.

If you are a dolphin it's ok to get arrested w/ no penalty, if you are another team it's bad.

What a total hypocrite

One of the many differences btw people like you and myself is I bashed Cro, I bashed Braylon, Alosi, etc... you make excuses for your guys when they get in trouble.

I don't know if it's flattering to be stalked -( even breaching my image farm which I need a password to get into myself) maybe more so if you weren't a troll and did it on your own time rather than now that you've clocked in as a business hours only paid jest agency propagandist. I don't recall you coming on here and saying it was a disgrace signing someone with 2 outstanding felony charges against him the latest being pointing a gun at 3 people, or for that matter that you didn't want the jest to sign Holmes cuz once you throw a glass itself at an innocent woman in a club, you're gonna do it again. So signing and drafting criminals is okay, so long as nothing happens going forward, right?

I understand that your daytime job is to come on here, and try to make us look bad as possible while glorifying the jets and ignoring or minimizing their many foibles. Well every post you do from here on in will be accompanied by this dose of hypocritical reality so you need to decide, or ask your boss if it's worth it .

queue up the inevitable OCD-raging "Lastworditis"

the stalker calling me a stalker. Only funny when he tries to be serious.

I am stalker for responding to asinine posts but a certain poster who dedicates nearly 15 pages of bad photoshops, saves all my posts and follows me to various boards isn't a stalker. Ok.

LOL, Unlike you who tends to find my posts wherever on this site they're located, no matter how untraveled, please tell me when I've breached the password protected, or even open social media accounts of you or anyone close to you?

But be that as it may, unlike the distasteful "work" you actually get paid for, other than these hit and runs and graphics pastes, I'm actually too busy this AM doing legitimately productive work to address Rex not taking responsibility as he should for a number of issues. But I will

Hey NYJunc, I have nothing relevant to the topic at hand, but on a side note I must say that it was rather enjoyable handing you a loss this week in our ESPN league.

There was a Buffalo LB who is playing now who was pulled over with pot found in his car. He was arrested and the entire city of Buffalo said this guy was done.

A week later I think, he was playing in a game and still plays. I was completely miffed.

Piss test anyone? hello? suspension? fine? What happened?

Braghdam is his name I think. Evidence must have been tossed out. NFL moves on.

NFL picks and chooses what is good, not good according to whatever rules it makes up or can keep in house.

Marijuana is decriminalized in NY state. Sorry it's not 1931 anymore.

Look, this is nothing more than a player who did not like the culture of the NFL.

What is scary is how a friend close to you can ruin your life and reputation.

At least a DWI you can fight it and you have a chance of getting a fair trial, based on the evidence and remember this, an arrest is not evidence, its the "facts" they have on you that they most prove in court.

Incognito will be hard pressed to clear his name in this over sensationalized debacle and recoup the money he's already lost.

Imagine you having a friend you work with, you text funny, embarrassing, confidential things or stupid things during off hours, then instead of going to the person directly, he then takes it to the media, and you use this for a reason for leaving....? The whole story just rubs me the wrong way.

Living in the Dallas area, and talking with very credible people, Charles Haley and Irvin did some crazy stuff in the locker room.

I have personally been inside a Dallas Cowboys locker room, after a game and never believed women (reporters) would be allowed to walk into the locker room and could see nude players walking around from showers, until I saw it. Is that a professional environment?

Players have individual contracts to play, its not like a regular job and can never be compared to one.
