Every Tannenhill dropback vs Buffalo

Dude starts games like I start golf rounds. Double bogey on the first hole almost every time.

One thing to look at is how Parker gets off the line and his release. Looks smooth and has a good burst. Breaks the cushion of the DB and stems nicely.

Parker looks nice. Looks better than Stills and Jennings in his release and frankly, getting separation.

Parker is smooth as hell. BUT, he needs to work on his blocking....very finesse! At his size he should be murdering those smaller DBs.
Also, when Tannehill has time he gets that ball out. He needs to work on his fades...they're bad.

Yeah, not worried about blocking right now with Parker. I want to see him get at like 6-8 targets this game.

I just looked at the passes for the 1st half.
I counted 25 dropbacks. 4 were definitely where the OL collapsed. Another 7 you could consider under pressure. Leaves 14. I guess in a world where we want to put everything on the OL you probably could call a pocket collapse when a DL just looks at the QB. But I definitely would say I've seen worse. Most of the 14 throws he had decent protection. But I have definitely seen worse around the NFL.

But this piece just confirms what pretty much everybody I know felt: OL could be better but was not that bad that there should be an excuse for a horrible first half. TBH the fist half is pretty much standard in the NFL these days. 14 with protection, 7 somewhat pressured and 4 definitely under duress.

I watched a minute and a half and couldn't watch anymore. This team is a hot mess. Tannehill most definitely included

Why do this to ourselves?
It's like Will Smith in Bad Boys 2. "We're gonna take this game, put it in a little box, and put it on the floor of the ocean. We will never talk about this game again."
Lol!

I understand that. But, he's young and you have to start instilling stuff like that early. His effort is VERY lazy! He's a rookie you don't let him get away with crap like that. It's a mental makeup, an attitude that's critical to the entire team. Else, that laziness permeates to everyone. Likely, he does it because that's the approach most of our receivers have towards blocking.

Thats the type of stuff that creates a soft team. Parker "winning" is not only about catching the ball. But, suffocating the hell out of that DB on blocks...Part of his success as a receiver starts with his and team success as a blocker

That's one of the big things we're missing on this team. No-body acts like they want to destroy their opponents....physically and mentally.

It is only because your caddie gives you the wrong club, a bad plan to approach the hole, the wind is in your face every time, and you get no protection from the trees. Those things are right in your face before you even get all the way to the top of your back swing.

Learn how to make excuses for your terrible golf game. Do not even consider that the trees are a bigger factor for you because you can not hit it long with any accuracy. Do not consider that your caddie advises you to lay up and not be aggressive because your game is limited and he must plan around those limitations. You probably play a lot better at easier courses like the ones in Jacksonville as opposed to the tough courses NY offers. Just take your scores from the easy courses and pretend that is the norm and what you should expect every year going forward. You can be a scratch golfer because you shot well a few times on the soft courses. Ignore everything else.

Lmao, when I get back to work this gets my post of the day

The good, the bad and the ugly....with an emphasis on ugly.

You could tell that RT was a bit rattled by the constant pressure. Some good throws mixed in there, but what a horrid start. Pretty poor by all involved.

OP.....thanks for posting this. If you take requests, I would enjoy seeing the running plays if they are out there!
