until we figure out someway to Counter it.. The Blueprint has been layed by both Pittsburgh and Buffalo, WHAT THE HECK DO WE DO TO FIX THIS???

we had great pass protection in the pre-season in my opinion, the run blocking sucked but the first few games Culpepper barely got touched

Short dump offs and running r brown down the middle..

if the playcalling is better we can get by that and make teams stop blitzing, say we keep throwing the screen when they blitz. nobody is back there to stop Ronnie so it's a TD. than the blitzes stop

A screen is one of those calls that, when it works, goes for a big gain against a blitz. Usually you need a guard that can pull though..

THis is true with every team that gets beaten by a blitz. This is not breaking news or insightful on any front. Its like saying they'll play 8 in the box if they know our recievers stink. Or load up on the right side cause they know the RG is new.

To address your question ( How do we fix this? ):

Its quite simple. BLOCK, if the line can't do it leave the TE, HB, and FB to assist on pass plays and the TE and HB on run plays. Burn them on a couple of dump offs in the flats and watch how quickly they go back to a 4 or 3 set on the line with 1 or 2 blitzers.

As has been stated, the Dolphins will just have to do max protect. McMichael doesn't like doing it, but he has said he will do whatever it takes for the team to be successful.

have Justin Peele block, thats what he's good at, line up McMichael with Booker and Chambers at WR and have Ronnie in the backfield chipping a guy before going out for a screen

the bills got consistant pressure from the front four...thye didnt blitz that much

people have been missing this point all week. when you can drop 7 into coverage most of the game your defense is going to be pretty sucessful. especially against a team keeping in a te or rb to help block, even at that point

Well yeah, but that takes Miami's best receiver so far this season (Welker) off the field.

Considering McMichael has a propensity to drop easy passes sometimes, and Welker pretty much catches everything, I'd rather have McMichael back blocking, and Welker running routes. Just my opinion.

Draws, screens, 3 step drops, etc. Culpepper's confidence is shaky right now, and his knee is effecting his mobility. There's no better confidence builder than a completed pass. Force him to get rid of the ball early, make the blitz a non-factor.

I think Chambers has more yards and TD's than Welker...
And if Welker were considered the best reciever so far this season, he would be starting. Saban has who he think will give the team the best chance to win starting. So obviously he thinks so far this season Chambers and Booker are better.

That's because the DL guys don't run stunts and there's little or no blitzing. That's part of what's called "vanilla defense". The coaches evaluate players on basic types of plays and wait until the regular season to put in the "tricky" plays like disguised blitzes or switching up DL positions so that a TE has to try to block a DE.
