Jon Vilma--NO Saints
I would rather have him than Suggs, Dansby, or Scott. I think he is going to be great. He is former member of the U and he was born in Florida. So maybe a homecoming is in store for him. He is a beast and would fit nicely beside Porter. He produces and I would much rather have him than Crowder as well.
26 yrs old, 6'1", 230 lbs
2004--107 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 INT
2005--169 tackles, .5 sacks, 4 FF, 1 INT
2006--114 tackles, 1 FF, 1 INT
2008--132 tackles, 1 sack , 2 FF, 6 F Recovery,1 INT

Angelo Crowell-Buffalo Bills
27 yrs old, 6'1",246 lbs
2005--119 takcles,3 sacks,2 FF, 2 INT
2006--12 games,83 tackles, 2 sacks, 1FF,2 INT
2007--126 tackles,2 sacks, 1FF,1 INT

He is realiable and is only 27. He def will not require as much money as Dansby, Scott, or Suggs. Plus we take him away from a rival in the Bills. With him we would have money to sign other players. If we are going to break the bank of one guy I say Haynesworth not Suggs..

Rocky Bernard-DT-Seattle
He is 29 but had a decently productive year. And at 6'3" 308 lbs he is a decent size DT. He had 55 tackles and 4 sacks on the year.

Gabe Watson-DT-Cards
25, 6'4", 340 lbs.
Is young enough to develop and you cant teach size.

Stacey Andrews-OT-Cincy
6'7" . 342 lbs, 27 years old. He would be good on the right side if we let Carey walk . Or move Carey to guard beside of Long and have a dominant Left side of the line. He is a mammoth of a man and I think he makes our Oline stronger.

Jahiri Evans-OG-NO Saints.
25, 6'4" , 318 lbs.
He is a RFA so i dont know if they match the contract or not. But he would be great next to Long. He has had several good years and brings stability to our line.

Chris Kemoeautu-OL-Pitt
6'3" , 344 lbs, 25 yrs old

Sean Jones-Safety-Clevland
26, 6'1" ,220 lbs
This guy is a solid S with big play potential
In his last 3 years, 44 games he has had 14 INT, 286 tackles, 2 FF
He is no Ed Reed, Atogwe but he is better than our guys back there.

Atari Bigby-S _ GB
27,5'11" , 213 lbs
He had a great year last year with 86 tackles, 3 FF, 5 INT but only played in 7 games this year. If he can stay healthy he is a good Safety .He is not afraid to lay a hit and can cover also

Dunta Robinson-CB-HOuston
We are not gettin Asomugha so this is the next best thing in FA. He can be a man cover corner and has great insticts. He would improve our secondary vastly. He is only 26 and has been solid since coming into the league. Best CB we would have had since Surtain and Madison.

Jabari Greer-CB - Buffalo
Only 26 and has been a starting CB for Buffalo the last 3 years. The guy is fast and can cover very well. He isnt foing to break the bank either.

Phillip Buchanon- CB-Tampa
Born in Florida and played at the U. Has been consistent since joining Tampa Bay. NOt alot of money and thats a + with BP knowing he hates to spend $$.

Bryant McFadden-CB-Pitt
Another born and raised FLA native. Went to FSU. He is a solid CB but doesnt make alot of INT. I see alot of people on here mention his name wanting him in FA and it would be a good move.

My wish list
Asomugha- But it will never happen
#2--Atogwe-S-STL-- Top 3 S in all of football behind Polamalu and Reed I hope that Rams dont franchise him.
#1--Haynesworth-Cant be franchised and I pray he doesnt sign a long term deal with TN. He needs to move on.
#3--Jonathon Vilma--IMO best LB in FA. And doesnt make a ton of money.

theres a reason that Vilma isn't a Jet anymore, HE DOESN'T FIT THE 3-4.
Also OJ Atogwe is extremely overrated, he'll make a big play then get beat the next play, extremely inconsistent.

Crowell and Vilma don't project well in a 3-4. Both are a little undersized and that is why Vilma was traded, he wasn't a fit for the Jets' 3-4.

long time viewer first time posting take it easy on me fellas im a virgin at this
A big nooooooooo to vilma and crowell would love gabe watson but is a rfa so we would have to give somethin up for him would also like s sean jones or even james butler from giants dont as far as corner goes sign robinson to play nickel or to replace goodman as starter and play goodman in nickel draft a corner in second or third to groom draft is full of quality guys

Not a lot of key contributors in that group, but some guys would be good for depth. Dunta Robinson has some good upside and wouldn't be a back signing and Andrews would be a decent replacement for Carey if he isn't resigned, but I would much rather have the FO draft a RT with the first pick. Congrats on your first post and welcome to opening yourself up to criticism, scrutiny, and the ocassional "thanks". Have fun!

alot of the dansby situation will vary depending on wut warner does if he retires i dont see dansby leaving if warner resigns i could see dansby possibly being let go

Hes a unrestricted free agent... the cardinals dont have any control over him anymore... all they can do is offer him a better contract than other teams if they really want him back

what i meant was they have until free agent signing period to begin to sign him if warner decides to retire before then i think they get dansby resigned before free agency even begins

Sean jones i like, Dunta robinson? nickel bacK? you kidding me? that guy is a shut down man to man player. Id LOVE him on this team and he would eat up will allen in a second. hes a number 1 corner material if not a great great number 2 guy.

watson is a RFA thats the problem but id take him b/c that cards d line is very damn good.

Dansby I love and would love to get in miami. I really like Mcfadden as well a lot and i wuoldnt mind greer at all. good CB.

Vilma is NOT a 3-4 LB why dont ppl understand this? loll.

and bigby has good numbers and is a good gamer but also helps whne ur 2 CBs are potential shut down guys if not VERY DAMN GOOD CBs miami hasnt seen in years. that allows the S to roam around so to say instead of worrying about double coverages like bell and hill have to on so many darn occassions.

any one know what gabe watson's tender will be. i would do it in a heart beat of our 2b, and i am not one for trading away picks. but for a 25 yr old NT, he is better than brace and brace isnt even guarenteed to b at that spot. if any one has got it i would appreciate it

That is a pretty good list at CB IMO... Considering how badly we need help there and our drafting priorities (at least in the earlier rounds) will still be LB,OL,DL... All of those guys would represent an upgrade... and a big fat 'hell YES' for Dunta...
