You can see everything is falling into place. Whether it was Culpepper or Brees, Saban knew he had to get a QB. It took a little longer than expected, and though you could argue maybe we missed out on Givens, everyone of the other guys we have targeted hasn't signed anywhere else. Goodman and Hodge are great signings, because they are cheap, and help add depth to positions we need depth at. And signing Shelton now may afford us not to draft a LT in Rd.1. And the reports now are that Culpepper is for a #2 next year. So now we can go full steam ahead into getting the rest of the guys in free agency we want to try and get. I can not wait to see what the next few days holds as it pertains to signing guys, because the free agents thought of us as a SB contender without a QB, now we are even more appealing. It should be fun. We have not headed into a season in a pretty good while as one of the favorites in the AFC, but that is what we are going to be now, alongside NE, Pittsburgh, and the Colts.
