It seems that everyone's favorite ex-cornerback quit the Carolina Panthers for "personal reasons" today. Here is the link:

He didn't see much playing time this year, struggling to even see time as the team's dime back. Personally, I think he was lucky to even get another opportunity to play in the NFL again with the way he played in Miami for two years.

He quit because he gave up a 68 Yds. TD to his granmother in a family flag football.

Maybe it finally dawned on him that he was not good at what he did? :D

That guy made so much off that one Super Bowl INT. :tantrum:

And even then he was yelling that his grandmother pushed off on him.

I have no problem with him leaving the team if he's going through personal issues. Everyone has times like that they go through in life. I don't think anyone hates him personally. He is just another failed example of Spielman free agent signings that he misjudged and overpaid WAY too much for.

By the way, I hope things get better for you in your life. I was going through some issues last week when my sister was diagnosed with cancer. Luckily, surgery and chemo should take care of it and the doctors told her she has a 90% chance of a complete recovery. There is a cliche about when things are going awful for you, they will eventually get better because they can't get worse. Just keep that in mind.
