Ex-RB Williams says GM Ireland was both brusque and pleasant

I loved Ricky as a Dolphin and even respected his decision to retire, even though he screwed the team and the fans. But now he is screwing the fans of the Miami Dolphins again and he is not even on the team!!!! We already know how some players feel about Ireland and how the national media thinks the team is a joke. We don't need Ricky stirring the pot and bringing media attention back on the Phins FO. I just lost respect for him, for sure.

No, he isn't.

Yes!!!! I agree!!!! I'm not mad. I'm mesmerized with how amazing these GIFs really are.

Ricky paints a picture of how I would expect any NFL GM to be like...or any executive or manager of a business for that matter. What he said isnt a compliment or criticism imo. And who gives a **** about our GM's personality anyway? Players are simply looking for the biggest contract, not the GM with the nicest personality. Why is everyone so stuck on picking apart our GM's personality? Are you all psychology students or something? "Oh Jeff Ireland has an icy stare, so we will never go to the superbowl waaah"

So much for staying on track, boy we need football and fast.............

Wow. Nothing more than thinly veiled racism here. How many NFL players have you met?

WOW.....Nothing more than a total, media-type over reaction on your part here.

The point he was trying to get across seems to be that tough guy NFL players will not respect and/or take advantage of a display of any type of weakness, real or perceived.

When you think about it, you're more the racist since you seem to be breaking the issue down by race rather than considering it for what it rationally meant.

...he called them animals. If you don't understand the historical context of certain words in American culture then you have a skewed perception of our history. A lot of it isn't pretty, and awareness is the most powerful tool against it. What is said and what is implied can be two different things and I refuse to let that comment get brushed under the rug.

When i look in the mirrow all i see is plain "black" I work out everyday so i can look like a black mother fu#ker animal, just like the players i work with and please dont brushed anything else under the rug, vacuun the damn rug and give it a rest. Words have the power which you give them, and the fact that you immediately correlate "animals" to racism, it says more about your inherent thoughts about race and relations than it does about his.

When someone says "That guy is an animal!" Do you genuinely think he's making a racist statement? You need to take some basic psychology courses if you are not trying to play devils advocate and are being genuine with the ridiculous statements you're making here. Honestly, drop it. It wasn't a racist comment, the context alone proves that. You're searching for something that isn't there.

I'm enthralled by your detailed response. You've inspired me to contemplate each and every word you post from here on out. Do you have a twitter account? Cause I wanna follow you.

Your original post was so ludicrous I didn't feel it was deserving of more than three words. This one is better. Keep it up! :)
