ex-UCLA head coach Karl Dorrell interviewed with miami today

That sounds good to me. Let's get him in here pronto.

haha i posted at Celtkin.com couple days ago that i wish Miami would give him a look.

Good Character coach. He was WRs coach in Denver with Smith/McCaffrey while they had 100 receptions each. 1st time in history i think.

He just didnt cut it as a Coach at UCLA which was his 1st HC job and the WC offense wasnt working. He did clean the program up and brought good kids in.

As a UCLA fan I would love to see him in Miami.

Thanks for the info guys, other than being the HC at UCLA, I had no clue what else or where else he had coached. Being the WR coach during those McCaffrey/Smith years is a pretty respectable resume. I would love to have a WR duo like that here.

very good WR coach, but was in way over his head at UCLA. Became a decent recruiter, but that is not the place to get your first HC job when you have little to no cordinator experience

Maybe he can help Hagan hold onto the ball.
