Excellent read

My fantasy Football League Draft is today. I have always had a hard rule never to pick a dolphin player, because I want to keep emotion out of it. But this year, I am planning to select the Dolphins defense to start the season. They are well-coached, have added talent at every position, and they are unpredictable. I am hoping they can consistently generate pressure, and get more turnovers this year.

Id think we'd like to see more of that Auburn kid as a 3rd DB out there vs Bobby McCain, right?
Also, with his injuries, can X hang if his WR goes deep?

Think we’ll see a major improvement from the D

The Defense will look like Day and night compared to last year.

The front seven is full of quite a few very reliable players against the run, so though I still can't see them being totally dominant, they will be pretty good, forcing offenses to pass against our secondary more then they would like...When Opponants test our secondary, eventually they will get burnt.

Man, that is an athletic and versatile LB group. Grugier Hill is one of the fastest players on the team(according to his 40 time back at the combine).

Nickel is the new "base defense" of the NFL. Almost 75% of defensive snaps use 5 or more DB's. And with the way Flores has emphasized acquiring CB's, I think we will run nickel and dime more than most teams.

So I don't think it will be an either/or situation regardinging Mccain and Noah getting on the field. We need them both (unless Brandon Jones ever replaces McCain at FS).

McCain will operate as our starting FS, but I expect to see us use a variety of sets in our defensive backfield.

The one thing I am almost positive of is that as long as Noah earns it, playing time will not be an issue for him at all.

100% agree with the blob. If Igbo shows he can play well, they will find plenty of opportunity for him within the scheme.

I do think think the O line is improved over last year. However, I have seen several team by team rankings that still have Miami as the worst O line in the league. Fair? If not, who's worse off than us?
