Informative, fairly hard hitting interview with Kim Bokamper.
Steve Ross comes across as an insightful and savvy businessman who at the same time is a lifelong fan who appreciates winning. He recognizes that the fan base is aging and younger, more impressionable fans need to be attracted. Today when there are so many entertainment options available, that's why the club needs to go the extra mile to enhance the Fan Experience. He confirms that the Trifecta's doing a great job and that Bill never calls him to check over any moves.. and that's the way it should be since the mark of a good manager is to hire the best people and not micromanage them but provide them with whatever support they need. He claims to believe that the owner is a caretaker and that it's the fans who own the team.
Wide ranging interview that IMO, should make everyone feel better about new ownership whether they agree or disagree with some of the resulting individual moves. He's willing to think outside the box, try new things and discard them if and when they don't work... and does care about what Parcells thinks. Personally, I'm pretty impressed by him.
