Miami Dolphins: Observations from evening session

Just came from the final session of the Dolphins' first double practice day. They went for an hour and 45 minutes in the bubble and I came away with the following observations:

() Matt Roth was there wearing a ballcap and went through stretches with the rest of the team. Some of those stretches even appeared to test the groin, but I'm no trainer.

() Jason Allen had a rough session at corner. At one point, during 11 on 11 drills, Will Allen had to step in and basically call a time out because Allen was in the wrong place. Once Allen shifted to cover Ernest Wilford out wide, Chad Henne immediately went right after him but overthrew a wide-open Wilford.

Cameron Wake, looking more comfortable now that the pads are on, stormed past right tackle SirVincent Rogers and had a clear shot at Pat White....i hope he becomes a passrushing terror for us...Not a ton of work for the starting backs in the second session. Not a lot of Ronnie and Ricky. In fact, very little Ricky at all. ... Just one Wildcat play that I saw, a Ronnie run off right tackle. Ronnie also delivered a vicious stiff arm that put rookie CB Vontae Davis on the ground....no surprise there...Ronnie's a beast...

That's a pre welcome to the NFL from RB to Vontae, you're not in college anymore, running backs run over you in this league..

Did anyone else notice that Bell actually caught an interception?

It's hard to imagine JA so I'm trying not to...

Come on Down Jason Allen;

I think the Jason Allen experiment is about over. I guess he better hope he sticks with the special teams unit.
