Exclusive Commentary: DAMION MCINTOSH Week Three Journal

Thanks for the update Damion. As always, it is informative and gives us insight we wouldn't otherwise have. I especially liked your descriptions of Peppers vs. Rucker, and the differences between them.

And I'm encouraged and gratified by this:

I’ve seen several of you asking questions about the tackle rotation that we’ve used the past couple of games.

I'm glad you're on the site. Enjoy.

good stuff, all the tackles did a good job with that front 4... i hope ronnie takes you guys out to dinner this week, haha... great win and writeup

Thanks D-MAC!!!!

I really must say that the pass protection has been a very pleasant surprise. Especially after last year!!! Giving up only 2 sacks has been WONDERFUL!!!! I do feel bad about some of the crisism we gave you guys. I guess you were fighting an uphill battle with the bad scheme, and the bad offensive system. I'm Really happy that every week we see some improvement. To much of the haters out there( Me included) Seth did a great job last week dominating the trenches.

The only question i have is whats up with all the False starts? (it was better this game)

Is it that we are trying to bait the defense offsides, or are we just mixing up the counts a lot to confuse them?

Also? Can you give us any insight into Berger. Since he wasn't at camp we haven't had a chance to see him.

Thanks D-mac--I'm always hungry for pancakes!

Thanks Damion! You guys did such an awesome job stopping Peppers. I can't think of a bigger test that we will face -- that guy is a BEAST. Same with Rucker. You guys are doing a great job.

Damion..

Great insights on what its like in the trenches. Our winning season starts and ends right there with you linemen......great job so far.

My only request going into this season is that every game be exciting football to watch and that we would be competitive. So far...I am keeping that same request...but a couple of more wins and the word playoffs might appear in my vocabulary.

Thanks again for the journal.

Great stuff. Good inside info on the tackle rotations and the Carolina D-Line. Great seeing him on the forum.

It's awesome to here from you D-Mac. We really are proud of the improvement the line has made from last year. Keep up the Great work! :)

Excellent! nice insights into the rotation as well as an 'on the field' view of the brawl at the end of the 1st half.
