If, and big IF!

If Dion Jordan gets reinstated, if the Dolphins are ready to move on from him, expect him to garner a lot of interests, WHY???

A 26-year-old player, who was just three years removed from being the third overall pick in the draft just does not come on the trading block very often (if he ever does). Jordan's age and draft status might boost the Dolphins' asking price.

Also;Talent and skill set.

At 6-feet-6, 245 pounds, he isn't built to be a defensive end in the NFL. But with a 4.60 40-yard dash, and the kind of hips and feet that let him routinely stick with slot receivers in man coverage, Jordan is almost custom built to be an outside linebacker in today's NFL.

San Fran will want him. We already had a deal worked out with Chip in Philly before the last failed test. Doubt the bidding war is for anything but late round flyers.

Bidding war is a bit hyperbolic when the negotiations start with a 6th rounder and heat up all the way to a conditional 4th lol

But I would probably be happy if we scored a conditional 4th rounder lol

Late round! I beg the differ.

me think at least a 4th if not 3rd.

maybe he failed the test to avoid Mr Kelly

I'm inclined to see what the lad has left in him now. To me if he shows anything it's a bonus. With possibly two former college mates both with something to prove themselves I wouldn't sell this kid short. If he does screwup we're no different shape than we are today. I'm rooting for him to both make and contribute to this year's team.

New regime. New GM. We need YOUTH on the D so I fully expect they will want to take a long look at Dion to see what his game is about...

But who nose.

Yeah, I'm sure the teams will be crawling over broken glass for the opportunity to overpay for a guy who hasn't done a thing in this league and is one failed drug test away from a lifetime ban.

LOL ok, we were getting a late round pick for him before he got suspended again and now we will have a bidding war , good for a laugh

We have two DE's over the age of 30 and we are discussing getting rid of someone who has crazy upside with very little wear on his rookie deal?

No reason whatsoever we would trade him. We don't even know what we have yet.

We just traded a 3rd, 4th and a 6th to draft Leonte Caroo. I'm pretty sure we'd take a look at his talent and how we could use it before considering a mid to late round draft pick for our biggest ever bust. The last thing we want is for him to turn into a top notch pass rusher and we didn't even give him a chance after he came back.

I'm not expecting a bidding war.

never has a dolphin done so little to be so highly regarded by some

Yo this thread idea is mad funny!!!! A bidding war? For Dion?

I am SICK and TIRED of hearing about this guy's "upside" and "measureables".

He is a BUST.

I probably received the record for most no-thanks on a single post when I said it before, because of all the koolaid drinkers who think that guys like that are how you build a football team. You build with players who have EVER DONE SOMETHING.
