Alright, so we "upgrade" at QB and add speed and youth to the offensive skill positions...does this translate into more wins??? more points??? a trip to the playoffs???

How good are the additions and will they make a difference in the big picture??? :beer1:

Why worry about the expectations for the '08 offense when we are still trying to get the '07 offense together. :cooldude:

With Cam as the offensive coordinator and with the improvements the San Diego offense made with his there, there is expectations that he can do the same thing with us this year. If the defense continues to play at a high level and with better red zone production from the offense, this should result in more points, more wins and hopefully a home playoff game to offset the one we lose by playing in London.

We'll see what happens. Cam may even hire an OC in 2008 anyways. I dont see Cam handling both duties for a prolonged period of time. Head Coaches already work upwards around 90 hours a week just being a head coach. You can imagine what type of stress could or may be involved handling both head coaching and OC duties...Although head coaches normally also look over the defense and Cam will not be doing that this year so that lightens his load a little

Cam has already said that the game planning for the offense will be a joint effort of all the offensive coaches. This will take a lot of pressure of Cam and allow him to focus on the playcalling on game day.

lets just hope ALL the coaches are competent enough so that id doesnt bring them down collectively...Also, hopefull they are not including Mularky in this scenario

I hope he wont listen to Mularkey's suggestions

Well...with Mularkey being the TEs coach and having experience as an OC, you can bet that they'll be taking/asking his advice. Whether or not Cam choose to use it is another matter.

Yeah, Cam being the expert I think he would know if Mularky's idea would be gold or crap

I expect decent improvement in the offense in 07. If Beck starts in 2008 it may take a small step back before (hopefully) making a giant leap forward.

I think that Cam will start Green for two more years so he can give JT and ZT a chance for a superbowl win reagrdless of Beck.

That would be a shame, there are not many 39 year old quarterbacks that pull off a superbowl win.

If Beck beats out Green next year (and I think he can)- Beck should start, regardless of what Taylor or Thomas has or doesnt have.

Can someone tell me when was the last time Mularkey had a golden idea?

Or any idea that someone listened to?

Or resulted in a positive outcome, when his idea was used?

that guy made offense 'offensive'.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.........
