many people do not have any expectations for the dolphins in 2005. But I have more. Ever since Saban has been here, the direction of this team has changed. We have gotten quality players in the draft(also free agency), and a coaching staff that rates to be one of the best in the league. Right now even before we have played a game, I feel that we are a much better team. Saban has a plan. You can see it in the way he thinks and talks. I really think what he has done could bring us to the playoffs. He is a proven winner everywhere he has been. His winning mentality will help this team. The playoffs are possible but I dont think we will go far in the playoffs. The following year is when expectations will be higher. I could see our team going far in the playoffs the following year. What about you guys?

Your team is heading in the right direction, but I dont see you making the playoffs this year

do you see the bills making the playoffs?
I think the Bills are a 9-11 win team. It will depend on the play of Losman, but for now I will say yes.

I see the Dolphins as contenders..... The league is a funny thing..... you can get good in one offseason and I think the dolphins have done that....

Depends on the play of Losman. Seeing as we were one win away from making it last year with Dreadslow. If Losman isn't terrible, it isnt out of the question.

KGun if the bills have a chance to win 9-11 games the dolphins are capable of it too. I dont see the bills as a much better team than the dolphins. You say youre team depends of losman well same with the dolphins with feeley. If feeley can play to his potential we could be a suprise team this year. Im not trying to diss you in any way im just telling you what i feel.

I agree with that.

Well the Bills were 9-7 last year, the Phins were 4-12. Yea the Phins will be a better team, but so will we. Id say we have a much better shot at making the playoffs.

I feel the same way with our QB play. I'm not saying playoffs, but our season will mainly depend on our QB.

I think we are a lot like the Bills where LAST year and I think we will have a simular season to what they had last year...I also think that depending on JP buffalo should be a contender this year.

I've said this all along, my expectations are to win the SuperBowl, anything short of that is no good to me, of course there is the "getting better every year" success, but to me it doesn't matter

I was flamed last year going into the regular season saying that the Dolphins were a bad team and 6-10 would be a reach, 4-12 was very likely. We all know the results from last year.

My prediction for this year, 6-10 with an 8-8 season really being a reach, the Fish are better, but not WAY better. You guys talking about "deep into the playoffs" and "reaching the SB" are smoking crack.

The Dolphins are better in some areas, the same in others and worse in a couple others (Patrick Surtain trade will hurt at first, trust me).

I personally think Saban is making lots of the right moves, but SB teams aren't built overnight and lets face it, our team was friggin awful last year. Three years from now if the pieces go together as they seem to be, look out NFL.

We still have another year or so in the cellar I think.

you must be smoking crack because in your profile it says your prediction is 10-6. Explain that to me. Did your 46 year old body fail you?
