A few months ago, I was hoping for Bill Cowher and Andrew Luck this offseason.

A few days ago, I was hoping for Jeff Fisher and Peyton Manning this offseason.

Today, we have Joe Philbin.

In a few months, we will commit to Matt Moore.

Today, I acknowledge the Dolphins are no longer part of the elite franchises in the NFL.

Wake me up when the 2012 season is over. I would rather not suffer through another humiliating season.

Today I am glad we have Joe Philbin over Jeff Fisher.

Early nominee for the debbie downer award right here. Today you just realised we weren't elite? How long have you been asleep?

Another Miss Cleo that can predict the future. I wasn't happy with the choice of Philbin at first, but the more I read, the happier I get and yes my expectations keep get higher and higher. Why not enjoy the day - it has been a while since so many fans seemed so enthusiastic!

there were coaches I liked more than philben but cmon he has earned his shot by doing a good job unlike many others.

As for Moore I doubt we commit to him at this point

i cant say that although I wanted Mularkey anyway but Im good with the choice. If we had chose McCoy I would have been pretty angry

honestly this is day 2 of the philbin era, right now we should all be allowed to expect a super bowl.

Don't worry Dlockz....you're a lock for the 2011 DD award.....though you've clearly fallen behind in 2012 with all this beeming over Philbin. Don't fret...history would tell us we'll blow any good will in the draft and you can get back on your game! :chuckle:

i dont know where you get the matt moore thing from - but if philbin chooses that im going to trust his judgement, since he obviously knows at least what a good QB looks like.

i agree that people's expectations are through the roof, and they would prob wind up justifying anyone we hired eventually.

im excited to see what he puts together and i have to admit im pretty excited to see what bush and marshall do in the new system. im also happy that we got an offensive mind so hopefully our D stays largely intact.

Are you a season ticket holder? Mail me your tickets for free if this is how you really feel. I think this was a smart hire. I will be optimistic and support our team each and every year.
