....how is this loss on Tannehill? Not saying he's the long term answer or not but only referring to the vacuum of today's game.

Three drives for the Pats and they're already up 21.

Juice fumble = drive killed, Ajayi fumble = drive killed and Steen miscue = drive killed. (I know the INT was ugly)

He could've packed it in after being down 31 - 3 but instead he threw a dime to Stills for a TD and threaded the needle to Cameron for another TD and had us within a play of sending it to OT.

So again, forget your love or hate for him and his past shortcomings, how is TODAY his fault?

Silver lining; at least Franks made all of his kicks lol.

Some insane reason about how #QBwinz

Didn't put the team on his back quite enough

"Garbage time stat padding" is all the second half was. And it's garbage time and not trying to mount a comeback because of who the qb is

I've seen the same people who claim it was all garbage time stat padding by Tannehill praise other qb's as gritty and tenacious when they've fallen behind on Miami and led their teams back to make the final score close. It's all agenda driven.

Ryan failed to stop NE's offense in the first half, giving up 3 consecutive TD drives.

He also had a couple of fumbles and a bad snap on top of his INTs. Oh and he couldn't stop NE's offense with 6 minutes left in the game to give his offense one last chance to tie the game.

He just had a really tough day, that poor guy.

It is easier to look at the football team and go "That guy is the problem! Remove him and it will all be fixed!" than it is to look at the football team and go "Holy ****, there are a lot of problems, and I can't figure out how to fix them, and I certainly can't figure out how Mike Tannenbaum is going to figure out how to fix them given that he is the sort of person who already traded away our 3rd and 4th round draft picks in 2017 for a guy who won't even see the field this season barring an injury."

I guess in terms that would be suitable for a five year old, "It is easier to blame the guy who has the ball in his hands the most than it is to blame all of the guys who aren't any good."

I have a bad feeling...

Tannehill will have another decent year, but won't be good enough to get us into the playoffs. We'll cut ties after the season, and he'll end up on another team where he'll have his awakening and be a great QB for 8 years. One of those situations where he'll never do it with the Dolphins - it'll take a change of scenery for it to all click for him.

And we'll be back on the rebuilding/waiting for another rookie to develop for 4 years treadmill.

I hope I'm wrong

Good QBs can put the team on their back when needed.

Tannehill has never done it. Its not complicated.

Lets not try to pretend this is a one time thing. He's been here 4 seasons and 2 games. He's never carried us. Even awful backup QBs have carried their teams when they had to.

Philip Rivers just lost his go to guy. It didn't matter, he put the team on his back amd got it done. Carr was down a million pts vs the saints, he stepped up alex smith was down a million pts last week, he stepped up.

Tannehill never steps up. Blame whoever you want, but there is only one position in the NFL that can take over games on a weekly basis. And were weak at that position, hence why we always lose, winnable games.

I think you are wrong when you say we are going to cut ties after this season. Whether you like him or not, and whether you think he is good or not, and whether you think he should be or not, Ryan Tannehill is really, really likely to be our starting QB again in 2017, from what I see right now.

That is honestly what bothers me about the QB debates. Not that I disagree strongly with other posters, or that a handful have gone off the deep end, but rather that there is no end to it in sight.

Took me a long time but I'm starting to lose faith in Tannehill - he's the Joe Montana of garbage time though...

I keep hearing people say Tannehill got hot because it was garbage time. What I saw was a shift of focus, with Parker becoming the primary target early in the second half. Once the defense was forced to adjust it openned up the passing game for all the options, Landry, Stills, and Cameron.

I would like to see Drake used as receiver out of the backfield more too. Also I know Gase said Grant isn't ready to be an offensive weapon yet, but if they played him a bit it might loosen up defenses more. Teams like Seattle last week could not put those big corners close to the line of scrimmage with Grant, he's too quick.

How stupid are these anti tannehill people? Seriously. 70% completion percentage and near 400 yards.
