Within 5 yards of the LOS so Landry's block was considered a crack back. Didn't help that the head snapped back violently.

The block by Floyd was about as textbook as it gets.

Here is the rule guys. Patriot hit was legal.

An offensive player who is aligned more than two yards outside the tackle when the ball is snapped is prohibited from coming back toward the football and blocking low or hitting a player in the head or neck area.

I know what you're saying, blindside block. But I believe that only applies in that case on returns.

i.e. When you see an offensive lineman get crushed on an interception return and it's a penalty... it's a different rule.

Always thought a blindside block was what a player blocks back coming back to his own goal line and blocks from the side or back.

Not sure Floyd was coming back or not

We were playing the Patriots. There were quite a few blatant holds not called against NE as well. It's ridiculous what they get away with.
