Flores was the de-facto DC in NE this year and their defense was garbage. How do guys like this get the push to be a HC when they perform terribly in their current jobs? It really is baffling.

Maybe the FO is looking for someone who they can dictate to and not necessarily someone that might have a strong personality. Either way I hope its Richard and not flores.

Wouldn't that be a nightmare. I think I find the tallest building around and take a dive rather than watching the dumpster fire of a season we would have to endure.

Yeah I think sometimes people forget that when you’re not the Head coach you don’t necessarily get to do things however YOU might want them. You might spend our days going “wtf is this idiot doing? Why won’t he let me do it this way?!”

Let me reiterate, I do not like Defense oriented coaches as HCs. It maybe unfounded bias, but it seems that many times they fail miserably.

Because they are ****ing idiots and this would be the most Miami Dolphins signing ever... signing a defensive coordinator on a team with a horrible defense. Only Miami would think that is good. It would be addition by subtraction for the Patriots.
The fact that this signing would be that bad for us all around lets me believe it is the most likely scenario that will happen. You guys are funny. Tanking. The Dolphins won't tank, because if they did they would end up 8 and 8.
