No doubt but that shouldn't have surprised anyone who knows the fins.
 
yea, didn't seem to matter to people when we were winning 6 in a row with 2 special team OLB's starting.

Only when a team exposes them its a problem.

This has been an issue all year. Vance has made magic with that back 7. But eventually you get exposed and this was the team and environment for that to happen. All good.

Kiko has been awesome for us. He drives me nuts sometimes, but he's given us more production at LB in half a season than anyone else has in a long time.

The other two however are an embarrassment as starters.
 
This defense is a joke right now . Can't allow such quick tds against That team . Defense will feast and pin their ears back and hand over from there
 
If the LBs were the sole reason why we are 24 nothing down, I would agree. We are losing everywhere.
 
I was hoping for at least a respectable showing. I hate to see the pundits be right.
The Ravens are toying with them and obviously have no respect, otherwise they wouldn't be going for it on 4th down so much.
Unfortunately, the Phins are doing nothing about it.
 
We lost. offense don't look good, and the defense looks terrible.

Kiko played through a hamstring injury today.. The team knew they had no depth and can't afford to let him sit and get healthy..

Silly to goof on our only good LB after having 1 bad game while playing hurt... a guy who tries to tough it out through an injury to help his team. A guy who has been a crucial part of a few of our recent wins.

When Kiko heals, he'll continue to play well. The real problem here, as OP said, is this overall unit and lack of depth.
 
Nobody in the NFL is a worse player than Bobby McCain ....... Not even our putrid linebackers
 
They are going to need pick up at least 5 new LBs that can make the final roster next year the way I see it.

You need to get two new starting outside linebackers, two new backup outside linebackers, another solid backup for Kiko AND bring Kiko back..

If you let Kiko walk, you really have a mess next year :lol:
 
thats understandable about the linebackers but for the team to come out so flat is totally embarrassing
 
I wanted the Dolphins to draft a corner R1, but I think drafting the best LB available in round 1, and re-signing Kiko, is a good place to start. I don't know who is available in Free Agency, but we will need to get lucky and possibly lucky with another trade, too.

This team is trending upward and the playoffs are in our near future (not this year), but Gase & Co. have their work cut out for them this offseason. The moves they make will be absolutely critical to the trajectory of this team.
