I really thought this was going to be the year that the offense finally came together and made some noise. There is no explanation for an offense with Daunte Culpepper, Chris Chambers, Ronnie Brown, Marty Booker, and Randy Mcmichael to look as terrible as it does. This offensive line looks horrible and Culpepper has been fairly bad today as well. The defense has played pretty well but we made too many mistakes and this Bills offense is probably more mistake ridden than any other offense in the league.
I really didn't think that we would come out and play this flat today... If we end up losing this game it won't be a death sentance, but it will be a very difficult hole to climb out of.

worse than the ******* in jacksonville in 2000.

wow!! i thought i would have seen a hundred or so "it's the
offensive lines fault" posts.

that excuse was firmly in place before the season began.

ok, lets go with that excuse.

who putthis line together?

who signed the new guys?

who keeps them in there?

any guesses???

Lets make something clear, something the rest of the NFL has KNOWN FOR YEARS and something most of us in here have been in denial about:

Ronnie Brown: Good back, not a top 5 back (arguably even top 10) in the NFL and not an immediate impact maker at RB, especially as a number 2 overall draft pick.

Chris Chambers: His entire rep has been solidified because of one great game against Bufallo last year.. People forget he dropped a few passes that game that should have costed us the game. Overrated to the extreme, he goes through stretches of GAMES being invisible, drops passes and is not an elite receiver in the NFL by any stretch of the imagination.

McMichael is a good TE, but he showboats to much, commits too many penalties, and like Chambers goes invisible for GAMES. Not the difference maker many of us think he is.

Cullpepper made his name with Randy Moss, everyone knows he suffers from extreme fumble-itis and poor decision making.

Guys, lets take the blinders off and give credit to players that deserve credit for consistent play. JT, Zach and the D have been doing it year in and year out, they are the still the backbone of this team, and our "elite" offense is only elite to those of us in Miami.

it seems like the all name and no game offense. highly offensive today. kind of like the hurricanes yesterday.

it seems the line is the key, and the dolphins' seems to be on vacation. i'm disappointed, too.

BUMRUSH: very good post. but you forgot one important thing...

saban is not god. he is not the almighty of db coaches. and he
sure the hell aint a gm which is what this team really needs.

nick saban needs to start getting his fair share of the blame.

he deserves it.
