F*** PFT? Crowder tells Florio to meet up at his house

Florio thinks he is a comedian. Once in a blue moon he will make a funny comment insulting a player/coach. Calling a player a douchebag isn't funny. It's not really insulting, and I'm not saying it because it was said about a Dolphin; it's just not funny. And that's what Florio was shooting for. I love PFT as a source for up to date information, but Florio tries wayy too hard to be funny. And like a lot of football websites, too much speculation.

Not that Crowder was in the wrong in this particular situation, but he just reminds me of the Carmelo Anthony/Tracy McGrady type - always having a bit too much fun. He knows it's just a game and getting paid entirely too damn much and he's content with just being good.

Crowder, to me, doesn't give off the impression of a guy who has PASSION to win. He just seems like a guy who wants to do relatively well and get paid for it.

Good for him, but not for us fans.

But hey, that's just my impression of the guy, anyways.

PFT is a joke... I don't have any respect for those clowns, and that is before this. **** them.

I don't get how Melo and T-Mac stack up into that comparison.

UPDATE: Mike Florio has responded to my email request for comment. "That's funny," he writes. "I was just playing around."

What a *****. If you call a man a douche bag and he sends you an invite to go to his house and say it to his face, you better do it.

Well Melo had admitted that he has had that outlook for a long time and recently vowed to change that. T Mac gives off that vibe by always scoring a lot but not doing the little things to help his teams win games that mean anything.

well T-Mac is known by players in the NBA as:

Half Amazing, Half a season

(as a play-on to his nickname "Half Man, Half Amazing")

not to mention the guy looks high 24/7 when he actually IS on the court

I've kind of noticed the same thing. I saw an interview where he was talking about the future I guess, something like "hopefully getting another 5-6 years after my contract is up, then a couple more, and then hang it up" It was just the way he said it. The players I've come to see that have the upmost passion for the game don't even want to talk about "hanging it up" Ray Lewis.. Zach Thomas.. etc

Florio is a sack of crap but Crowder does show up more off the field than on it. He seems to think that he's the straw that stirs the drink, but he's really more like the drink itself. Maybe he should wait until we're on track before he goes off of it.

I betcha Crowder invests his money though.

Anyway....i thought CC had a good showing sunday. He was in the backfield alot...def alot more than i remember last season. and he was quoted as being pretty pissed about Turner being projected to break alotta tackles. I think this guy can get fired up. He also dropped his B.S. act and signed with the dolphins at a fair price this offseason. i dont pretend to know what the guy is thinking but i like him.

I really like PFT and think Florio's comment was actually pretty funny.

The fact of the matter is Channing, especially with his later comment only proves his "douche baggery." I know Channing was just joking around but he should come up with something funnier then the "say that to my face" comment.

If Florio would have typed this about Rex Ryan, Tom Brady, TO, or various members of other AFC east teams you would love it.

You also have to realize that all PFT serves as is a data base providing links to other articles from around the country.
