I am tired of the wildcat offense getting all the credit. Are offense is doing really well especially are young O line. Every time I see a highlight or some dumb broadcaster talking about my dolphins its wildcat, wildcat, wildcat. The wildcat can’t be stopped because are O is playing disciplined football. Are D is all over the place straight knocking people out. Ronnie is a monster, Ricky is fast as hell and Chad is running things to perfection. The Dolphins are much more than the wildcat formation. I know we are only 2 and 2, but we are far better than last year.

It's good that is what everyone is talking about! That's the point! You get people focused on the Wildcat and then all of sudden guys like Pennington, Camirillo and Fasano are producing and making plays. I love the fact that were identified with the Wildcat, and I love the fact that teams have to prepare for it. I don't care who you are, but there is only a finite amout of time to prepare for a team, and any time spent studying the Wildcat is less time studying something else. The beauty of the Wildcat is that there is still so much that we can do with it, so even though teams are spending so much studying it, there is still the element of surprise. Think about that last statement: you can spend all the time you want studying, but you still run the risk of seeing something that you've never seen before. I love it!

Who cares. I only care about the Wins and Losses. If forcing our opponent to game plan against two seperate offenses gets us more Wins than Losses more power to them.

Amen, I dont care what they are running. Lets ride the MF till the wheels fall off.

I like the fact its getting so much attention, and taking away from anything else we do

edit-let them focus on the wildcat and when they realize it, it'll be to late to see that they were losing to the Miami Dolphins :D

I agree that OUR offence is doing real well.....and OUR offence is playing diciplind football.....let them keep talking about the wildcat and let the other team focusm on the wildcat...in the mean time we'll roll up 300 yards the conventional way

Ozzy rules!!

The wildcat is all about subterfuge & misdirection (not literally of course).

So, I guess the coach before Cam was right; "It is about the process not the results" lol.

"Are" and "Our" are two different words, FYI.

Anyway, isn't it much better to hear about the Wildcat as opposed to how we lost or how we suck?

typically people feel the need to point out typos, grammar/spelling errors on the internet to try and give credibility to their own posts.

 Thank you Danny! The misuse of OUR & ARE and THEN & THAN is about to drive me crazy.

Although (to &too) give me fits sometime.

Typos and grammar don't usually change the meaning of the sentence. But using the word "are" in place of "our" and "than" in place of "then" causes pause in the reading because it does change the meaning. I screw up "to & too" a plenty though.

Just look at the word "TOO", what a screwed up looking word. Everyone should get a pass on that one.

When did this thread become about our gramar?

The beauty of the wildcat is that not only does it force teams to spend time preparing for it, it also prevents teams from stacking thier coverage. Look at last week when Ricky almost passed the ball. Ok that didnt exactly work out but what it do was force the DB's to stay back in their coverages. This gave Ricky more room to run if he could of found a hole to run threw. It almost like a version a version of a trap or a draw. So yeah our offense is producing using other formations but part of that is because defenses cant commit to any one area of attack. They have to cover the entire field. They dont know who is going to get the ball nor do they know what that player is going to do with it once he has it.

We are forcing defenders to make plays one on one without their teammates help

What if we run a sweep play like we used to do with chambers but if he is met with a wall of defenders he dumps it over there heads to ricky or ronnie and they pick up 10 or more yards because the defenders are all attacking Ginn's sweep. This wildcat formation is not only about the formation its also about utilizing players talents that they are not traditionally known for.

We are moveing lineman around. turning running backs and recievers into QB's. We are using masking who has the ball, similiar to play action type schemes. Our offense is wearing out defenses because they need to cover the who field constantly. This Wildcat lable is just a tag name for it but they are showing the nfl that our guys are multirole players. I cant wait to see Pennington level someone with a good solid block or catch a nice pass.

What is this, Ninth grade English? A guy has a few grammar mistakes and people jump all over him lol....this is about FOOTBALL; and obviously you guys understood what he meant.

Man, they can dance a jig if we win. I would rather be known and constantly identified with the Wildcat, rather than being 1-15!
