My money is on safety first. I predict Parcells and co. go after a starting safety 1st in FA. They need a QB of the secondary and we don't have one. Every good 3-4 has a solid safety running it. JAllen is still a big ? and you need someone to be the coach on the field. If you are going to spend early this is the best spot to go after IMO!

LB and WR are big needs as well and there are players available there. But I say safety 1st. Anybody else?

I think we target Kris Jenkins first. Ireland has publicly said that we need to find a NT, he is a candidate IMO. Much better than Rogers, and there are more FA safeties to sign than 28 year old 6' 4" 334 lb DT's.

I think we will Re Sign Y. Bell and Also Sign Ken Hamlin if he doesnt Resign with the Cowboys

i agree.... Secondy and Offensive Line i think are the first two spots that should be attacked with FA.... WR third.

Defensive line, we have a lot of youth there that is pretty decent and can still be developed... also there is some great d-line talent in the draft. no need to spend massive cash in FA for that yet.

but thats just my mind.

Alan Fanca would be a great pick up for our O-line

If K.Hamlin is signed what do we do with J.Allen, I don't believe we should switch him again. We may well be the reason for his lack of success, how can anyone learn their plays switching positions every month. I believe we should look for any trade value for him otherwise, another 2nd from Detroit/N.Orleans/Atlanta/Minnesota would be nice but maybe I'm dreaming to much.

I dont think we would trade him i think if we signed both Y. Bell and K. Hamlin he would be our Back up but if we dont sign Y. Bell and we sign K. Hamlin, Hamlin would be Switched to SS if we didnt re sign Y. Bell

if you will trust me... J. Allen is going to be solid wherever he is. Bowles i love, and Pasqualoni will make sure Allen is playing where he is best. Bowles i believe is a great secondary coach, and loved what he was doing in Dallas. He seemed to have his players playing beyond their expectations.

I don't doubt he can play anywhere in our secondary he's a great athlete, but I'd want to kill my boss if he switched my job responsibilities as much as J.Allen has had to put up with. Alot of people complain he gets burnt to much but you can't allow your athletic ability to take over when your doubting yourself in what schemes/coverages your suppose to be in and so on.

J Allen gets switched constantly because he shows nothing in practice. They are trying to find a spot for him because his measurables are off the charts but his practices suck. If you know any writers who get to see practices, ask.

I agree that Jenkins could be a good pickup and would be ideal IF he is healthy. That's a big IF! I would expect him to be resigned IF that was not a concern. NT is a tough place to play hurt - there is no hiding in a 3-4. We do need a NT badly because I didn't see any promise in Solai - can't believe a guy that big can get pushed around like he did. So much for the 4th rd steal. Hopefully they can work him into shape and get some strength built up. Maybe he could at least develop into a solid rotation guy there.

yeah he is still young, Solai.... maybe he can work himself in this year or next... we do have a lot of youth still developing on the line.

Jenkins does scare me with his health issues though. would he be worth the money???

My honest guess of who we get first is Mark Simoneau LB. It's been rumored that we are interested in him, he's 31, wouldn't require to break the bank on so we could focus on other needs but he's a solid player...no Zach Thomas but a decent addition all the same.

wouldnt that kill the whole concept of rebuilding for the future and not just for a couple years. should of jsut kept Thomas then.

we got a lot of work to do in the draft... but i think we can find some help in FA too, but i'd rather find younger guys that can help.
