I have been wanting the JT for a 2nd to happen for years now. JT was extremely expensive and not only did the Fins get another 2nd round pick with The Tuna at the helm (:woot:) but they also just freed up a ton of cash to sign a stud FA.

I was wondering if any Cap gurus knew how the Fins are looking and who will be out there next year to sign.

I am pretty sure that the Fins' cap situation should be very good right now.

He saved us about 9 million on this years cap, but apparently we havent spent enough money this year and have to spend roughly another 5 million, this year..

here is al ist of guys who will be FA's next year...

I think we'll be very active

Nnamdi anyone?

It looks gross having Vernon Carey on that list, I really hope the front office can get that guy extended way before he becomes a FA. Nnamdi could end up getting franchised, but even if he doesn't he's going to get such a huge contract that idk if Parcells would even attempt to bring him in.

wow, the wr crop is SLIM. T.O. is 35. Housch maybe, but i'm thinking the bengals are gonna extend before the end of the year. otherwise, I'd feel better about drafting a guy than bringing whats left

I like Bart Scott from Baltimore as a potential long-term fix in the middle off of that list. As mentioned by everybody else, Asomugha would be a nice (albeit expensive) addition.

I also anticipate that Albert Haynesworth will probably actually hit the market next offseason at DT.

Yup, if neither Ginn or Hagan turn into pro bowl capable players I think the team could go WR very early in the draft provided there is one good enough when it comes to their pick.

Bart Scott would definately be a nice addition. I dont see Haynesworth leaving Tennesee..

His agents are trying to broker a promise from the team, ala Asante Samuel and New England, that if he plays this year on the one year tender that they won't franchise him next offseason.

In reality, though, as good as he can be when he is motivated, he is a huge risk to get a big contract and never be heard from again.

I thought part of the revamped agreement was one-time franchise tender.

No more of Orlando Pace/Walter Jones crap.

FWIW:Running a 3-4, it's gonna be tough selling a DT like Haynesworth on doing dirty work and letting the LB get the glamour stats.

Ok..so 21 mill under the cap right now. I predict we go after LBs in FA next year, and draft TEs, WRs and DBs.

For one this list is out of date

Colston extended
Parrish Extended

I am sure there are more that I wont look up now.

Other then that Cap will go Up YET again, more money out there. Take the top player from each team on that list, TAG them (They wont be there)

Take the second best from each team and resign him (wont be there)

So that will think out very quickly
