I was wrong. Feeley doesn't have it.

He has the arm strength, but IMO, he cannot read a defense to save his life!
What is truly frustrating is that at times, Feeley lapses into what I'd call pee wee league play. He makes inexcusable mental errors out when he gets pressure.

We do not have a NFL caliber QB on our team. Look at what Ben did. He was patient and learned as the game progress what the high percentage passes were. He showed poise and went through his options looking for the open receiver.

Miami has to find a way to get a true QB in here or else this whole thing is smoke and mirrors without a top 5 RB (ala Ricky Williams) to carry this offense on.

Because when the pressure is on they won't make as many stupid errors as we see and have grown used to seeing. A good QB recognizes disguised blitzes and has the mental capacity to know which receiver is open. He doesn't run past the line of scrimmage and toss an INT.
He throws it away when nobody is open.
He doesn't throw an INT in EVERY SINGLE ****ING GAME.

As I said, the Steelers have themselves a real QB. Miami has 2nd and 3rd stringers who should only get temporary spot duty if the the #1 goes down.

i remeber last winter when alo of folkks were having orgasms about Feeley and how good he was [ granted he could still improve somewhat] and about how he went 4-1 or something as the eagles backup, etc. When i mentioned that the reason for that was likely because he was playing behind the Eagles OL, etc. and those folks damn near beat me to death about it !! At least you admit that you were wrong tho.

He wasn't all that impressive in that those starts which is why I hated sending 2nd round pick for third string QB.People were just excited that Dolphins acquired another QB.

Brett Farve, Joe Montana, Elway, Marino, all these QB's would look and play like chit with this o-line and all the blitzing that is going on.. I am surprized that there was only 3 sacks recorded, but listening to the internet radio, it sounded like there was pressure on every down..

I have pitty for Feeley right now.. Here is a guy trying hard to make it in the NFL and every play there is a blitzer in his face or pushing him to the ground as he throw the balls or hands off.. I feel sorry for the kid and I would not be so quick to name him as the scapegoat for the lousy play of the offense .

It is AJ's decision making which I have huge beef with. He avoids a pass rusher and throws the ball at VERY VERY ACKWARD spots that force the receiver to contort his body into a crazy position to attempt the catch.

He is making pee wee errors out there. Huge mental lapses which are contributing to our offensive toilet tricks.

Not having the opportunity to be there or watch the game on television leaves me at a huge disadvantage.. however I do over look the bad passing when AJ does get protection.. because I know how difficult it is trying to remain focused (as the play is developing) when your fearing a major hit at anytime without warning..
Can you honestly say you have the patience and ability to stand in the pocket and look downfield, trying to read the field, not knowing if some linebacker or cornerback is about to hit you squarely between your shoulder blades with his helmet??
