We forced three turnovers and had two big plays for touchdowns. When you can't win a game under those circumstances, it's because you were outplayed the rest of the game. We couldn't stop third downs. We couldn't stop the run. Most importantly, we couldn't stop Andre Johnson (on fourth down or any other down).

We were outplayed. We deserved to lose. If we had stopped Schaub on fourth down, we would have won, but it wouldn't have been because we outplayed them.

I mean, let's be realistic. This is a rebuilding year. The test will be next week against Baltimore. If we struggle against Flacco and MaGahee, after this kind of loss, then we're in trouble.

That sums it up pretty darned well. I will add, however, that we could not generate sustained drives on Offense til late in the 4th. Our O-line got owned today. As you said, we got outplayed....plain and simple.

I mean, it was only that close because we were bailed out by a fumble on an interception and a forced fumbled by Johnson in the 5-yard line.

I can't stress this enough: if you can't win under the circumstances we were under, you deserve to lose. Not nice to hear, but it's true. Next week better be better.
