Is what Ireland said our first round pick needs to be. "A pillar of this defense" is what he said also. What better person to be that face than the son of a former hall of famer? Chris Long is a Zack Thomas type of guy. Hard nosed football player that doesn't run short of self motivation.

I want Jake Long. Vernon Ghoulston would be a beast. But I think our team is taking Chris. Either of those three, I won't be disappointed and you can't go wrong.

I want Jake Long also. But I wouldn't be terribly disappointed if we took Chris Long. Gholston... I'm not too sure about. Not because he isn't a great player, but because he's from Ohio State. I guess that's my hang-up with Ginn too.

we're getting a talented player at 1...Tuna and Jeff and Tony know what they're doing....I think Jake will take the deal but if not then Chris or Gholston is not a bad pick either.
